PROPOSAL FOR SUPPLY OF A SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE PUMP

Following your inquiry, we now have pleasure of forwarding our tentative offer, and
terms and conditions as outline below.

Equipment Specification
a) We propose to Install Grundfos SP14-23Stainless Steel Centrifugal Pump complete
with integral 5.5kW single-phase electric motor. All pump components are made of
stainless steel with water lubricated bearings. The pump will be supplied with 10mm2
submersible electric cable. The pump will deliver 6m3/hr at a total dynamic head of
130m.

b) Grundfos RSI inverter systems are specifically designed for large system outputs
using standard AC motor and are compatible with the world renowned Grundfos SP

 submersible pumps to create a modular system that can be customized to the
requirements of each installation.

c) Photovoltaic Modules 30No. Dayliff 250w 24VDC crystalline solar modules to

provide up to 7500W output.

Please note:
a) We have considered the sitting of the pump control room and the mains power
supply fuse (solar modules array) to be within 5m of the borehole head, cable for
any additional distance being charged extra accordingly.
b) The offer is for supply of equipment only.
c) The Solar panels and controller are exempted from VAT.

 d) Without a complete drillers report, the quote has been done based the information
given by you and as such, Davis & Shirtliff will not be held responsible should the
equipment offered fail to suit your borehole specification.

1) Terms and Conditions

i. Delivery
All materials offered are available ex-stock though offered subject to being
unsold at date of order. However, we require 1 day for splicing and testing
the pump.
ii. Terms of Payment
We prefer full payment upon confirmation of order. However, mutually
agreeable terms of payment can be agreed.
iii. Validity
Due to input cost variables, this quotation may be subject to confirmation at
date of order.
iv. Warranty
The pump offered above is covered under our standard terms of warranty, a
copy of which is attached for your reference.
