Startinginthesummertermof2015,TheoLawrencebeganteachingtheMYMSnareDrumlinegroupin
Montgomeryshire(Wales,UK).Therebrandedyouthmusicgroupexpandedtoincludethisnewgroup,andalsothe
MYMGuitar&Ukulelegroup,alsotutoredbyTheo.

After2termsofteachingagroupofpupilsagedbetween8and12,somecompletebeginnersandsomemore
advanced,TheoisreleasingthefirstofmanySnareDrumSheetMusicbooks.

TheMYMSnareDrumlinegroupisTheosadaptionofDrumlinegroups,tribaldrumming,militarydrumming,Drum
Corps,andepicstylesoffilmscoremusic.

Therearemanyareaslefttoexploreforthedrumgroup.Inthisfirstbook,Theohasfocussedonbuildinga
foundationofsimpleandshortsnaredrumpiecestohelpgivethegroupconfidenceanddevelopastrongsenseof
