Taiwan Day 1 Friday, 6am

Taipei Easy Card that cost 100 NTD plus 300 NTD load for a total of 400 NTD. You can use this
card in MRT, bus and some stores.
Bus 1819 operated by Kuo-Kuang Motor. Its a 1hr ride from the airport to Taipei main station
for 125 NTD. Click here for more info about the routes and fare then take Taxi from Main
Station.

Walk to TRA section, purchase tickets for train going north to Ruifang Station.

Go to Pingxi train train (Across), buy day pass, alight at Shifen (30 miyes, third stop) for the sky lantern
and shifen old streets, shifen waterfalls

Go back to Riufang to go to Jiufen

After exiting the station and facing the Wellcome supermarket, take a left and walk 200 metres down
Mingdeng Road. Next to the police station is a bus station (named Local Residents Plaza, ) with
routes 827 and 788 heading toward Jiufen. Please note that the bus stop next to the police station heads
east toward Jiufen, and the bus stop across from the police station heads west toward Taipei. Route 825
provides weekend service only. From here, the bus trip takes roughly 15 minutes, and the fare is NT$15.
It is recommended to take bus 1062 back to Taipei and enjoy some time at Raohe Night Market
().

By Bus
From MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing (), Brown Line 1 and Blue Line 5 interchange, leave from Exit 1
and take bus route 1062 (Keelung Bus) to Jinguashi, alight at Jiufen. The ride is about 1 hour and the fare
is NT$102. Be sure to get a good seat to enjoy scenic views of Northern Taiwan. Bus 788 is also available
from Keelung.

Take the Red Line 2 to Tamsui (), the northern terminus station. Upon exiting the station, turn left
to reach Tamsui Old Street and the waterfront. R28 (end of red line), turn left, 40 minutes
Fishermans Wharf (bridge)- After arriving at Tamsui Station (), Red Line 2, take bus 26 (Red 26),
836, or 857 towards Fisherman's Wharf

Beitou Hot springs - Take the MRT Red Line 2 to Beitou Station (), then change to the train bound
for Xinbeitou (). Upon exiting the station, walk straight on either side of the park to find hot
springs. R22

Tamsui then Fishermans Wharf - Get there: Take the Red Line 2 to Tamsui. Exit 1 is Tamsui Old street.

12:00 noon go back to Taipei

1. Take Fengyuan Bus No. 270, 271, 276, 277 at the front of Taichung
Railway Station to Zhongxingling, Xinshe District. From here, Xinshe Sea
of Flowers is a 30-minute walk.
