Yellow Jackets ranked in Top 10 to start year

BY LELAND BURCH
FOR THE GREER CITIZEN

T
he Yellow Jackets have cracked the S.C.
Prep Football Media Poll top 10 to open
the season, starting the year at No. 7.
Although still a young team, Greer returns 26
lettermen from the 2016 season. That is one of
several reasons why head coach Will Young feels
good about this years squad.
The kids have worked hard and done a lot of
things well, he said. Now, they are excited to be
playing.
The Yellow Jackets will have talent across the
board, starting at the skill positions.
