MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conference and Exhibitions)

I. SMX Convention Center (Mall of Asia)


The SMX Convention Center is a 46,647-square meter facility ideal for international exhibitions, large-scale trade events, industry
conventions, and corporate and social functions. The building, located in the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Philippines is one of the
leading establishments of the Philippine MICE industry.

With 4 Exhibition Halls, 5 Function Rooms, and 14 Meeting Rooms, totalling 21,000 sqm of leasable space, the Venue may accommodate a
wide array of events from a group as small as 10 to a delegation of 18,000.

SMX is envisioned to be the top-of-mind venue for all important events in the Philippines and in the Asia-Pacific Region, leading in terms
of amenities, space, capacities, and service.

HALLS
Four purpose-built halls can accommodate a wide-range of events
from trade shows to heavy machinery and equipment exhibits,
from corporate celebrations to major international concerts. Its
flexible layout may easily adapt to the individual requirements
of each event.

The halls have a total floor area of 9,130 sqm.These may be


combined depending on the event requirements. With a ceiling clearance
of 9 meters and floor load capacity of 250 lbs/sq. ft., the halls are
ideal for multi-level booths or modules as well as heavy machinery.

All halls are equipped with essential services such as air conditioning,
overhead lighting, telephone lines, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity,
water supply and drainage systems, floor utility boxes, back-up emergency power, and general public address system. Other features such as
an automated fire alarm system and CCTV security cameras are also installed in key areas to ensure safety and security within the
premises.

FUNTIONS ROOMS
Five fully-carpeted function rooms on the second floor offer a more plus
and luxurious environment for events. These rooms can see anywhere
from 200 to 8,200 guests at any given time, which makes it ideal
for corporate affairs, graduation ceremonies, product launches and even
large-scale social events. Its colourful LED lights, definitely add a
touch of class and prestige to any function.
The function rooms have a total floor area of 7,100 sqm. These
may be combined depending on the event requirements. The ceiling
clearance of the Function Rooms is 5.5 meters, while the floor load
capacity is 100 pounds per square foot.
As with the Halls, the Function Rooms are equipped with telephone
lines, floor utility boxes, 100% back-up emergency power, automated
fire alarm system, and CCTV security cameras. Each Function Room
has a dedicated kitchen and storage area for the food and beverage
requirement of events. There are also VIP restrooms inside each
of the rooms.
The rental package is inclusive of overhead lighting and air conditioning,
chairs and tables, platform stage, lectern and podium, and basic
sound system. Audio-visual equipment is also available for rent,
subject to availability.

MEETINGS ROOMS
The Meeting Rooms are perfect for small-scale corporate and social functions, company board meetings and training seminars. The rooms can
be setup according to a functions specific needs, and when combined, they can even accommodate up to 300 attendees. SMX also has a
Theater Room for gatherings that will require elevated seating.

The Meeting Rooms can also serve as break-out rooms for plenary sessions in the Function Rooms. Rental inclusions are overhead lighting
and air conditioning, basic sound system, and lectern and podium. Other equipment in the inventory may also be leased, depending on
availability. Meeting Rooms 1 to 10 are on the Second Floor, while Meeting Rooms 11 and 12 are on the North and South side of the
Mezzanine, respectively.

PRE-FUNCTION LOBBIES
Ground Floor
The Ground Floor Pre-Function Lobby, which spans a total of 900 square meters, is equipped with the buildings Main Information Counter.
In addition, there are two other concierge areas fronting Halls 2 and 3 that can be used as event registration areas.
The area is also home to the Php17 million Juvenal Sanso mural, Tide of Fortune. Three months in the making, the masterpiece was
eventually given by the artist, who is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Merit (Philippines), to his good friend, SM Group of
Companies Chairman Henry Sy, Sr., to become the centrepiece of the SMX Convention Center. There are also VIP and Press Lounges, which
are basically waiting areas for guests and media personalities. There is one on each side of the Ground Floor for easy access.

Second Floor
The Second Floor Pre-Function Lobby, with a total floor area of 300 square meters, is in itself a good venue for special events. With floor
to ceiling glass windows and a special LED lighting feature, the lobby is a beautiful setting for both corporate functions and social
gatherings. As with the Ground Floor, it is equipped with a concierge counter with three plasma screens for event announcement.

PARKING
At the lower ground level of the SMX Convention Center is a parking facility that can accommodate 400 cars. In addition, there is an
open parking lot in front and at the back of the building with a capacity for 2,000 cars. Valet Services may also be arranged should the
Event Organizer have such a requirement.

II. Megatrade Hall (SM Megamall) & Cebu Trade Hall


The SM Megatrade Hall & Cebu Trade Hall is one of the first trade exhibits opened for convention shows and functions. It is located at
the very top floor of Building B. The Trade Hall has 3 sections making it possible to make each section to have several events and
functions. It is usually located inside SM City Malls.

For venue requirements outside of Metro Manila, the Cebu Trade Hall, located in SM City Cebu, is the perfect venue in the whole Visayas
and Mindanao. Situated in the province considered to be the hub of economic, social and cultural activity in the Southern Philippines, it is
the favourite business forum, comparable to Metro Manila.

The Conference Center caters to smaller functions such as meetings, seminars, mini-conventions, training sessions, parties and other
activities. It features two function rooms located right next to the exhibit halls which also gives event organizers and exhibitors the
convenience of holding cocktail functions, briefings, business matching and forum in conjunction with their events at the Megatrade Hall.
Consultancy and Event Planning - Dedicated exhibit officers bear the credentials to respond to every client's needs. Each event is assigned an
exhibit officer skilled to service and coordinate every client's needs, from consultancy to event planning and promotions, technical assistance
to personalized customer. Well-trained security and maintenance personnel are available to provide their services ensuring utmost convenience
to the organizers.
III. SMX Taguig Convention Center (SM Aura Premier)

SMX Convention Center Taguig is the third property under the SMX brand.
It is strategically located at the third and fourth levels of SM Aura Premier in the
booming lifestyle and business district of Taguig City. It carries the same brand values
that SMX is known for: excellent location, extraordinary facilities, and exceptional
service by its team of highly trained event professionals.

FUNCTION ROOMS
Three fully-carpeted function rooms on the First Floor of SMX Taguig (which is located
on the third floor of SM Aura) offer a more plush and luxurious environment for events.
These rooms can see anywhere from 550 to 2,250 guests at any given time, which
makes it ideal for corporate affairs, product launches and even large-scale social events. Its colourful LED lights, definitely add a touch of
class and prestige to any function.The function rooms have a total floor area of 2,202.29 sqm. These may be combined depending on the
event requirements. The ceiling clearance of the Function Rooms is 8.5 meters, while the floor load capacity is 100 pounds per square foot.

The Function Rooms are equipped with telephone lines, 100% back-up emergency power, and automated fire alarm system. Each Function
Room has a dedicated kitchen and storage area for the food and beverage requirement of events.

The rental package is inclusive of overhead lighting and air conditioning, chairs and tables, platform stage, lectern and podium, and basic
sound system. Audio-visual equipment is also available for rent, subject to availability.

MEETING ROOMS
The Meeting Rooms are perfect for small-scale corporate and social functions, company
board meetings and training seminars. The rooms can be set-up according to a functions
specific needs, and when combined, they can even accommodate up to 230 attendees.

The Meeting Rooms can also serve as break-out rooms for plenary sessions in the Function
Rooms. Rental inclusions are overhead lighting and air conditioning, basic sound system,
and lectern and podium. Other equipment in the inventory may also be leased depending
on availability.

Meeting Rooms 1 to 13 are on the Second Floor of the SMX Convention Center Taguig. With its own information centre and spacious
lounge, these venue spaces are perfect for your events.

PRE-FUNCTION LOBBIES
1st Floor
The Ground Floor Pre-Function Lobby, which spans a total of 303 sqm, is equipped with
the buildings Main information counter.

2nd Floor
The Second Floor has a reception counter area measuring 96 sqm. It is in itself a
welcoming area for events to be hold in the second level of SMX Convention Center Taguig.
IV. WorldTrade Center
The Halls hangar type structure can accommodate the exhibition of light
aircraft, display of forklifts and large machineries

convenience of drainage and water system available right inside the
exhibition floor

The Hall can take in exhibitions, trade and consumer shows with as much
as 640 stands at standard size, over 500 motor vehicles for car and
automotive shows and special set-up designs with the luxury of wide-open
space and height clearance of 10 meters. Large congresses of as much as
15,000 persons with a stage and hanging screens from the ceilings

Meeting Rooms
The World Trade Center Metro Manila will very soon add meeting room facilities to complete its line-up of event solutions. Designed to
accommodate corporate and board meetings, conferences, seminars, breakout sessions, and social functions, the rooms may be se t-up
according to specific needs. With a combined capacity of approximately 500 persons, the room may be divided into four break-out rooms
for smaller discussions and sessions.

V. Philippine International Convention Center


The Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) made history as Asias first international convention center, setting a trend that led
other countries to build their own.

Designed by Leandro V. Locsin, a Filipino National Artist in Architecture, the PICC Complex formally opened on September 5, 1976.
An architectural landmark on its own, housing works of various Filipino master artists in painting and sculpture, it opened in 1976 to host
the World Bank International Monetary Fund Annual Meeting. After this, the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC)
established itself as one of the most versatile event arenas in the Asia-Pacific region by being the venue of political summits, medical
conventions, and concerts of international artists as varied as Luciano Pavaroti, the Bolshoi Ballet, Ricky Martin and Burt Bacharach.
Built on reclaimed land along scenic Manila Bay in the Philippine capital, the PICC has more than 70,000 square meters of floor area and a
range of facilities that can accommodate almost any gathering of any size.
The PICC has five (5) building modules, the Delegation Building, Secretariat Building, Plenary Hall, Reception Hall and The Forum. Spaces
