2.2
OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK STATEMENT
To set out and check center line front, rear and side setback and alignment control and levelling
for every unit of house construction in correctly as indicated in drawings.
2.3
Delivery, storage, handling and protection of materials at site.
2.3.1
Tripods hammers, peg, nails, plum bob shall be transported to site in covered vehicles.
2.3.2
Materials will be stored in a covered raised leveled floor to avoid direct contact with
weather and dampness.
2.4
Pre-installation requirements :
2.4.1
To obtain an endorsed copy of pre-comp plan, control point and earthworks as built
from client for the initial block pegging and checking of level.
2.5
Execution of work
6.5.1
Site clearance to remove all debris, unwanted materials etc.
6.5.2
Appointed licensed surveyor and surveyor particular to S.O. for notification.
6.5.3
Surveyor to carry out the block pegging solely based on the Pre-computation Plan issued
by client.
6.5.4
Surveyor to establish a level (TBM) for the future reference, and check periodically the
existing earth works setting out.
6.5.5
Surveyor to issue As-Built and check surveyor plan upon completion of work.
6.5.6
Submit endorsed (by Licensed Surveyor)setting out plan for S.O. approval before starting
work.
2.6
Point of inspection and checking and their frequency
To check the existing level (as built) against proposed level (const. drawing) to S.O. for
confirmation if any discrepancy raised.
To check front, sides and rear set back to ensure sufficient set back.
2.7
Post installation.
Site supervisor shall protect the pegging to prevent from disturb by others and use the pegging
as a reference during the construction period.
