1.3. Cautions

z Dont put anything on the lens supporter while it is turning on.

z Handle lens supporters carefully not to make some scratch on them.

z Dont press the touch screen with a heavy pressure. Then it might be misaligned.

z Dont execute the reading function when a frame or a pattern arent set.

1.4. Version Information

If you press MENU > USER MENU > SYSTEM INFO items, you can see some
system information and some versions.

z Software version : Software Main OS version

z Resource version : Resource versions such as fonts and images.
z EEPROM Version : Permanent memorys data version
z Manufacting ID : The identical number of manufacturer
z Frame reader : The version of a tracer module

1.5. Optical System

The optical system in our blocker consists of aa Image channel and a refractive
channel. The image channel provides an observation image, the refractive channel
measures the center and the refractive powers of a lens. The refractive channel
moves forward and backward while it measures a lens.

1.6 Measurement Principle

Basic Principle of refractive channel

When there is no lens (0D state), parallel light that has transmitted the collimator lens
passes the 4 pinhole and makes image on CCD. In case of convex lens (lens with
plus diopter), parallel light that has transmitted the collimator lens converges through
the measuring lens, passes the 4 pinhole and then makes image on CCD. On the
other hand, in case of concave lens (lens with minus diopter), parallel light that has
transmitted the collimator lens diverges through the measuring lens and then passes
the 4 pinhole and at last makes image on CCD.
