for the CDSA Badminton
Training Camp. The players
had a great time learning new
techniques from the coach

Curling Fun Bonspiel

ADCA and ADSA hosted


the Curling Fun Bonspiel
on December 3rd, 2016 at
Avonair Curling Club.
We had a total of 11
teams registered and
each team played to get
points to get to the top 3. Lucky Aces
Kryz Stobiecki, Craig Goryk, Sid Rahall, Othman Rahall
There was also a Best
Team Costume prize!

Canada Womens Volleyball

The Canada Deaf Womens Volleyball team, who won Bronze during the 2016 Pan Am Games, played an
exhibition match against Concordia University on December 16th and 17th, 2016.
The Canada Deaf Womens Volleyball team played an amazing match against Concordia and showed why
they are the best! Great sportsmanship and leadership throughout the whole match.
Great job, ladies!

I am honored to receive this award


from Canadian Deaf Sports
Association.

I need to recognize those that are


involved in the womens volleyball
program. Without their contribution
to the program, I would not be
receiving this award.

ADSA would like to congratulate Canada Deaf Womens Volleyball team for receiving $5000.00
from the Dairy Farmers of Canada.

The grant will be used for training camps in preparation for the 2017 Deaflympics in Turkey!

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK!

CDSA New CEO Announcement

Hello - my name is Mark Kusiak, Canadian Deaf Sport Association (CDSA) President.

First of all, I want to thank to the selection committee for their hard work and in selecting
the right person to fit in for CDSA.

Secondly, I want to thank all applicants who applied for the CDSA CEO position.

Now, I want to announce whom weve chosen this person to work for CDSA as CEO:

This person has a lot of experiences and involvement with different non-profit
organizations, board members including governance. In addition, served as an Executive
Director for different non-profit organizations.

His display for visions, leadership and builder are what we need for our CDSA.

Now I want to introduce who is the new CEO for CDSA - Alain Turpin.
He will begin his duties in January.
