RICE PUDDING

SERVINGS: 8

INGREDIENTS

1 liter of milk

0.40 pound of rice (185 grams of rice or 1 cup of rice)

0.44 pounds of sugar(200 grams of sugar or 1 cup of sugar)

1 teaspoon of vanilla

3 sticks of cinnamon

1 spoon of powder cinnamon

1 bag of raisins of 100 grams

A carton of 200 grams of milk cream

200 grams of blackberries jam

DIRECTIONS

Bring the rice and milk to boil into a saucepan over medium high heat.

Add cinnamon sticks. You can use less cinnamon sticks if you consider they are too many.

Stir occasionally to prevent the rice get stuck on the bottom of the saucepan.

Pour the raisins over the rice and mix.

Then, simmer for 15 minutes until the rice starts drying. 15 minutes is enough time. The rice must
not be too much solid.

Add the sugar, vanilla and milk cream to the rice.

Stir frequently.

Remove from the heat.

Pour the rice pudding in personal cups. You could obtain many cups, probably 8 cups.

Put a little of the blackberries jam on top or sprinkle cinnamon on the top.

If you prefer a less fat recipe do not include the milk cream.

If you want do not use too much sugar.


It can be served cold or hot.
