Guidelines for certificate verification and web option
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
1. Candidates having AUCET/AUEET-2016 ranks are required to be present on the scheduled
date and time at any of the notified helpline centres with all the following certificates and
registration fee ` 500/- ( ` 250/- for SC/ST/PH).
1. Hall Ticket
2. Rank Card
3. Statements of Marks and Provisional Certificate / Original Degree.
4. Transfer and Conduct Certificates from the institution where the candidate last studied.
5. Study Certificates from IX standard onwards issued by the Heads of the respective institutes OR Local
Candidate Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format.
6. Date of Birth Certificate (S.S.C. or equivalent).
7. Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
8. Latest Income Certificate issued by the competent authority (valid for 4 years) or white ration card in
case of eligible SC/ST/BC/EBC candidates claiming fee concession.
9. Certificate in the prescribed form in respect of claim under special category (NCC, NSS, CAP,
SPORTS and PH) where ever applicable.
10. Migration Certificate in the case of candidates from Universities other than the University where the
admission is sought.
11. Physical Fitness Certificate from the Medical Officer, Andhra University or from a Govt. Assistant
Civil Surgeon.
12. Aadhaar Card
13. Four recent passport size photos.
14. Two sets of attested copies of all the above certificates/documents, and additionally 3 copies each of
TC, Caste & Income certificates.

Note : 1) All the candidates have to submit / send a set of Xerox copies of Marks Statements and Pass Certificate
of their qualifying examination to the office of the Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University,
Vijayanagar Palace, Pedawaltair, Visakhapatnam-530017 on or before 13.06.2016, with a covering
letter mentioning course applied, Hall Ticket Number and Reservation Category for the purpose of
preparing merit order. Rank in the merit list shall not be allotted to those who do not submit the above
certificates.
3. Candidates are called for registration rank wise. The candidates are required to sign in the register, pay
the processing fee and proceed for verification of certificates. SC / ST /PH candidates have to pay ` 250/-
and all others have to pay ` 500/- towards processing fee which is non-refundable.

4. Candidates claiming fee exemption have to produce parental income certificate from all sources duly signed
by MRO taken after 01-01-2016. Candidates with Parental income up to ` 1,00,000 per annum in the case
of BCs and ` 2,00,000 in case of SC/STs are only eligible for fee exemption.
5. The verification officer will verify the genuinity of the certificates produced and retain the required
certificates.
6. After verification, the candidate shall proceed to Issue counter. The following documents will be issued to
the candidate
a) Receipt of Certificates b) Scratch Card.
7. The Scratch Card contains serial number and hidden Password. The candidate should verify whether the
serial number on the scratch card is the same as the one printed on the Receipt of Certificate. Any
discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the Camp Officer immediately for correction.
8. Candidates need to verify the caste category, local area, gender, minority, medium, special category and
date of birth printed on the receipt of certificates. Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the
Camp Officer immediately for corrections. Seat allotment process depends on the accuracy of the above data.
Candidates are responsible for ensuring the correctness of the data.
9. Read the instructions on the scratch card carefully and keep the scratch card till the end of the admission for
giving options on the web either from home / any other internet facility.
10. The password i s 8 digit numeric. After scratching silver/black panel on the card, the password will be
shown. The password is candidate specific. It cannot be used by other candidates for giving options.
Do not reveal your Scratch Card Number and password to others.
11. The detailed instructions for entering options on web are given in www.audoa.in.
12. In case of loss of scratch card, duplicate scratch card will be issued on payment of Rs.200/- with proof of
identity along with the receipt of certificates at the helpline centres where the candidate attended previously.
13. Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the web and take the print out of the
freezed options.
14. On the notified date, the web options are processed and allotment is communicated to the candidate
through mobile / email and also displayed in the website.
15. The Candidates who secured seats must pay the prescribed fee before the deadline, through online
failing which the seat will be cancelled. The payment process is same as that done earlier for Application
Registration.
16. On receiving the payment the allotment order will be generated. Candidate can download the provisional
allotment order and report to the concerned college / University.
17. Eligibility for admission and selection of course
a) The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering Courses offered by these universities is a
minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Group Subjects (Part II) of the qualifying examination unless or
otherwise specified. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (Part
II) is sufficient.
b) The requirement for Arts, Commerce and Law courses is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying
degree, except for M.Ed course M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of
50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination and for SC& ST candidates, a
minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects. The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a
minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST Candidates).

which the candidate will lose the admission.
20. If a candidate desires to cancel his/her admission and again wants to appear in the next round of
counseling, he/she has to again pay processing fee as a fresh candidate.
21. If a candidate wishes to withdraw from counseling, he/she can do so by submitting an application to that
effect to the Director, DOA. However, original certificates will be returned to the candidate only after
admission process is completed.

a. Who secured a seat in earlier phase of web based counseling and wishes to slide to some other college /
department. Candidate has to pay Rs.300/- as sliding fee. If sliding fee is not paid candidate will loose
both the seats.
b. Candidates who participated in earlier phase of web based counseling and could not secure a seat.
c. Candidates who did not attend the helpline centre earlier .
d. Candidates who were allotted a seat but didnt pay the fee.
e. A candidate allotted a seat in earlier phase but cancelled his / her admission.
f. In case they are satisfied with the previous allotment, options need not be exercised again.
g. Options may be exercised for those colleges even if the vacancies are not available, as vacancies may
arise due to sliding, cancellation and conversions.
24. If the candidate secures a seat in phase II, he / she will lose the claim on the earlier allotted college, and
has to report to the new college by downloading the allotment letter on or before the date furnished in the
allotment letter.
25. The Candidates who secured seats must pay the prescribed fee before the deadline, through online
failing which the seat will be cancelled. The payment process is same as that done earlier for
Application Registration.
26. Collect your certificates from the helpline center if no seat is allotted.
27. If the candidate is not interested to join in t h e allotted college for which he/she paid the fee, he/she
may request for cancellation of allotted seat and collect original certificates from the Directorate of
Admissions on or before the date specified by the Director.
28. Before the cutoff date, the candidate can cancel the allotted seat, by getting endorsement on request letter
from the Principal of the college and can collect the original certificates from helpline center.
29. After the cut-off date for admission, in case the candidates wish to cancel their admission they are
required to approach the principal of the college concerned only.

of the curriculum.
Note-3 However, if the candidate does not get the sanction of the course fee amount from the Department of

2. Click on the link Web Counseling button / Tab in the left side of the screen
3. Login using Scratch Card given at the time of certificate verification.
4. The scratch card issued is only valid for the candidate to which it is issued.
5. Enter the Registration number given in the Rank Card
6. Enter the 5 digit Serial number of the Scratch Card (Printed on the Back side of the card)
7. Scratch gently and enter the password in the box provided.
8. Then press login button to proceed to next step.
9. After login the browser displays the following screen to change the password.
10. Enter Serial number and password (Scratched).
11. Now enter the new desired password (Minimum 6 chars).
12. Then Re-enter the new password.
13. Note down the password in a safe place and do not reveal the password to any other person until
the admission process is completed.
14. Click on the submit button to proceed for the next step.
15. Now the list of districts will be displayed where the colleges are offering different courses
applied by you based on the tests applied.
16. Select the district names where you are willing to join the courses.
17. If you want to select all the districts, you can click on Select All option at the top of the districts
list.
18. After selecting the required option click on the Submit button to proceed for the next step
19. The next screen displays the list of colleges with different eligible courses as per the tests
appeared
20. The left side of the screen shows the list of colleges along with CAMPUS colleges fo AU and
BRAU.
21. The top of the screen displays Course Code with Course Name (Short Form).
22. Each column represents a course offered in the college. If the column is indicated as N/A, it
means that course is not offered in that college.
23. Sample Screen is as follows.
24. Please enter the Order of Priority in the Text boxes provided based on your willingness to join.
25. Start the priority number from 1 and continue to the end of your selection
26. Please prepare the list of colleges with courses in the order in which you want to join. Sample
Format is given below

27. Enter the priority numbers in the boxes provided in the serial order.
28. You can change / delete the order of priority of a particular course / college.
29. If you want to delete the course in a college, simply delete the priority number in the respective
box and press TAB key, then it will ask for confirmation, click yes to delete the priority option.
Then automatically the next priority options will be re-numbered.
30. If you want to insert a course of college in between the priorities already entered, select the
required course of college and enter the priority number in the text box, then press TAB key,
then it will ask for confirmation, click ok to re-arrange the priority options after inserting the
new course & college.
31. After completion of all the priority options entry, Click on the Submit button
32. After submitting the details the following screen will be displayed
33. You can Save the details and take a printout of the options entered for reference.

34. You keep the printed copy of the options entered in a safe place.
35. After completion, if you want to change the options entered you can login and change the
options as you like using your login details with new password modified (Scratch Card
password will not be valid for further logins)
36. After login, you can view the previously saved options on the screen and you can add / delete /
modify the priority options as you like.
37. After successful completion of the updations, take a new printed copy of the modified list of
priorities.
38. This provision is valid only for the period specified in the receipt of certificates.
