Management Practices of Botika Binhi in the community of Tomas Oppus Southern

Botika ng Barangay refers to a drug outlet managed by a legitimate Community

Organization (CO), Non-government Organization (NGO) and, the Local Government Unit

(LGU), with a trained operator and supervising pharmacist specifically established in accordance

with this Order. The motive of the Community Organization (CO), Non-government

Organization (NGO), and Local Government Unit (LGU) is to promote equity in health by

ensuring the availability and accessibility of affordable, safe, quality and essential drugs to all,

especially to the marginalized, underserved, and hard to reach areas of the country. According to

the State of the Nation Address (SONA) to our past President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to make

available low cost drugs medicines, the Department of Health (DOH) management is supporting

the Botika ng Barangay (BnB) which will be an outlet of Pharma50 Project Management Unit

initiatives to lower the cost of medicines, making it affordable and accessible to all Filipinos.

The researcher want to find out what will be the significant procedures of Botika Binhi

(BnB) in order to reverse the operation of their service and how they manage of this particular

business and also what will be the strategy and techniques to be more effective firm , so that the

customers will patronize and trust the firm again. Through this study, the researcher wants to

give a suggestions and recommendations to the firm that can use them in operating the business

firm and also the research want to address on what will be the possible procedures that Botika

Binhi can be able to serve the community because this project of the government is very helpful

to the people in the community.

Statement of Problems:

Generally, the purpose of this study is to identify the significant procedures in order to

reverse the operation of Botika Binhi. How they manage the Botika Binhi to become effective

and what will be the techniques and strategy implemented of the firm to stand-out this firm.

Specifically, the study attempted to answer the following questions:

1. What will be the significant procedures of Botika Binhi to be able to serve again?

2. How did the government manage this project to maintain their service?

3. What are the possible techniques and strategy that can use in order to stand-out?

4. What will be the demographic profile affected to this situation?

a. Age

b. Gender

c. Civil Status

d. Education Attainment

5. What will be the prediction of the community in this scenario?

6. What will be the reason of the government, why they didnt pay attention in this

project?
Scope and delimitation

The focus of this study is to identify the significant procedures in order to reverse the

Botika Binhi. The respondent of this study are the people in the Barangay of Tomas Oppus.

Through this study, we can conclude or determine what are the management practices of Botika

Binhi are effective and the techniques or strategy that may use to implement to stand-out the

firm. This study was conducted only in the School year 2017-2018.
