 Who is your school counselor?
The Professional School Counselor:
Is a certified, specially trained, caring,
professional educator.
Has at least three years of
successful teaching experience.
Has a Masters degree and counseling
certification.
Is committed to providing a
comprehensive, developmental
guidance program for ALL students.
Is a facilitator, encourager, motivator,
teacher, coach, guide, coordinator,
resource, consultant, advocate, and
a person who assists students,
parents, teachers, and
administrators.
Students see their counselor
by referral from:

friends
In times of crisis, no appointment is
necessary.
For other issues or concerns,
appointments are encouraged.
