Web Hosting role for Win 2008 & 2008 R2

Can be used to host a internal and external web servers.

Install & Configure the IIS 7.0 to host a website.

open the Server roles

Click Add roles
Select IIS Web Server and choose Next
Click on install and will take less than a minute to install the IIS Services.
After the installation A default website will be created and it cal be accessible
as http://localhost.

Create a folder named website undre C Drive and create a HTML file to upload it in
a new website

Click on the Sites from IIS servr manager and create a new site.

Mention the directory for the website.

click on OK and complete the new site.

Add the file name in the default document under sites.

Try access the website from the client.
