All behavior should ensure an environment where maximum learning can happen. Think before you act and
evaluate what you do. Respect is expected.

1. BE HERE- Your success depends on your attendance in class! Many participation activities cannot be made up
if you are absent. Arrive on time every day!
2. BE READY- Come to class with all materials prepared and a positive attitude. You should be in your seat when
the bell rings working on the warm-up activity.
3. BE ACTIVE- Participate! Use Spanish, take risks, ask questions, and reflect! Your best effort, always!
4. BE COURTEOUS: Treat others with kindness and support. Follow class procedures: raise your hand before
speaking, follow directions the first time asked, keep the classroom clean; no food allowed unless specified.
We will discuss classroom expectations more in the first few weeks of class.

SYLLABUS SIGNATURE FORM- Spanish 2- Sarah Wroblewski
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Im looking forward to partnering with you this year as your student continues in Spanish! Please do not hesitate to
contact me with questions or concerns throughout the school year. Below are various communication resources
you and your student can use during this course:
1) Email: wroblewskis@aaps.k12.mi.us
I check email on a regular basis and this is the best way to communicate with me. Information on
missing work, classroom behavior, questions, concerns, attendance, or setting phone or in-person
meetings can all be addressed and scheduled via email.
2) My class website: http://srawroblewski.weebly.com
My website includes resources for all students, including a hub for all of our web resources. Each
class has a page that has individual unit tabs for each unit of study. In every unit you can find
additional resources to help your student strengthen their world language skills related to the specific
unit grammar or vocabulary.
3) My Google Classroom: https://classroom.google.com
Google Classroom is a hub for daily assignments, homework, and handouts. Students register for
their specific class. Daily agendas, copies of class handouts, and homework assignments are posted
weekly to the site and students receive an email update with each post. There is also a class
calendar with assignment and test dates. Parents can also join to stay in the loop on classroom
activities.
4) Remind: (Text this message: @srawro to this number: 81010 to sign up)
I utilize an app called Remind that allows me to text groups of students. Remind keeps my phone
number and your childs phone number hidden but still allows me to remind them about important
events such as assessments, homework, changes in scheduling, or field trips! You are also welcome
to sign up.
5) PowerSchool: (online grade book) https://pschool.aaps.k12.mi.us/public/
I update assignment grades in PowerSchool on a daily basis. I encourage you to login and check
your students progress in class. The Parent portal is available at: I often leave comments under
grades in the comments section, including feedback and information on absence.
6) Seesaw: (Digital portfolio app) http://web.seesaw.me
Seesaw is a digital portfolio tool. It allows students to upload videos, notes, links, and other items for
grading. Each account is specific to you childs class and is NOT available to the public nor will be
shared with the public. There is a way to sign up as a parent to view your students work. This will be
shared via e-mail within the first few weeks.

Lastly, please sign below to acknowledge that your child has received a copy of my syllabus and you have
th
received this information. I look forward to meeting you at Capsule Night on Monday, September 18
beginning at 6:00 PM.
