• Supervise maintenance team to monitor the IN/VAS network performance on daily, weekly and
monthly basis.
• Supervision engineering team to complete the IN/VAS project as per schedule and meet the
department KPI
• Routine meeting with customers about network problems and supervise maintenance engineer to
solve the problems as per customer requirements
• Monitor and flow up the GCRMS tickets status to meet the SLA of AMC
• Assure that all team members have the required education and training to effectively participate on
their assigned project.
• Acknowledge and reward team and team member activities, as well as exceptional performance
• Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development
process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance
• Initiate sub-groups or sub-teams as appropriate to resolve issues and perform tasks in parallel
• Work with functional managers and the team sponsor to obtain necessary resources to support the
team’s requirements
• Coordinate the review, presentation and release of design layouts, drawings, analysis and other
documentation
• Coordinates meetings with the product committee, project manager and functional management to
discuss project impediments, needed resources or issues/delays in completing the task
• Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule to higher authority
• Keep the project manager and product committee informed of task accomplishment, issues and

• Managing the Service SMAP operations including users and user group’s administration.
• Managing the System SMAP network, service and charging data.
• Configuration and maintenance of DACP/GFEP for charging data services(like AAA, SMSC,
MMSC).
• Implement management tasks periodically to ensure the proper running of the system and to
provide services normally.
• Periodically view the running and calling conditions of IN/VAS services and conducting traffic
control when necessary.
• Obtain report information periodically as required and provide operation-related information for
other departments.
• Periodically back-up system operator log and set up specific directory to save these back-ups.
• Periodically view the network configuration of the TELLIN IN system and confirm that it conforms to
the actual network topology at present.
• Periodically view the license configuration condition of nodes in the TELLIN IN/VAS system.
• Checks System Alarm Information from the system and also from OAM Client.
• Configure and define alarm in OAM server to monitor in OAM client.
• Responsible in monitoring the System Operating Environment.
• Maintains the average CPU load, disk space, memory and CPU usage.
• Maintains the operating system logs, the core files and Bill directory
• Manages the configuration of Service Control Unit (SCU), Service Data Unit(SDU) and Service
Management Point(SMP) of Intelligent Network (IN)
• Create and maintenance of different service class based on customer requirements
• Implements the segmenting of number ranges to different SCPs.
• Manages the Voice, Short Message Service (SMS), Unstructured Supplementary Service Data
(USSD), and Inter-active Voice Response (IVR) Services
• Creates rating tables and charging rules for each service. Implements Time band charging rules.
• Schedules Back-ups on the system, CDRs and databases of IN.
• Performs creation of tariffs for content downloads.
• Manages the provisioning of prepaid accounts.
• Provides high level support investigations to network errors.
• Maintains availability of the platform processes.
• Performs creation of charging rules for WAP downloads.
• Prepares Progress Reports for the Management Team.
• Gathers account statistics on Prepaid Accounts.
• Collects Call Attempts per Second (CAPS) report for traffic analysis.
