It is October in Alaska, USA. The fishing season has come for a group of fishermen.
Theses fishermen fish for Alaskan King Crabs, a popular and expensive type of seafood.
Eddie, a 24 year old man, is looking for some adventure. He joins a group of fishermen
or their fishing trip.
The ship goes out onto the cold Bering Sea. During the fishing season, the fishermen
usually stay out at sea for a few weeks because the season is short. From now, Eddie
has to learn many things about catching the crabs. He has to work for long hours in
the cold and only sleep for a few hours every day. He also has to be very careful. Many
fishermen fall into the sea or die from the cold. They can also get injured by the heavy
machines on the ship. Eddie is about to find out why Alaskan King Crab fishing is one
of the most dangerous jobs in the world.
