special needs school and a career and
technology center. In all, about 15,500
students and they were all back in their
classrooms Tuesday, Sept. 5 in Calvert
County Public Schools.
The school system has been expe-
riencing declining enrollment the last
few years but the expectations were as
classes opened that enrollment would
be about steady or slightly ahead of last
