Son= death of parents 10 days unclean. and also on 11th 12 th day during function time only
theetu.

Daayaadhi(sapindargal)= death of daayaadhi 10 days unclean. From the day you hear the news
upto 10th day.

Daayaadhi(sapindargal)= death of daayaadhi 's male child (above 6 years) 10 days unclean
whether poonal is over or not.

Daayaadhi(sapindargal)= death of daayaadhi 's male child (below 6 years) 3 days unclean.

Daayaadhis Include:

Father's Brothers (Neradi Periyappa/Periyamma & Chittappa/Chithi)

Father's Paternal Uncles ONLY IF FATHER IS NOT ALIVE (Chinna/Periya Thaathaa/Paatti)

Daughter's son= death of mother's brother(Maama) 3 days unclean .

Daughter's son= death of mother's sister chithi or periamma 3 days unclean.

Son-in-law= death of Father -in law or mother-in law 3 days unclean.

Marumaan= death of fathers sister athai 3 days unclean.

Brother= death of a sister after her marriage 3 days unclean.

Father= death of a daughter after her marriage 3 days unclean.

Maamaa= death of sister's son(maruman) after upanayanam 3 days unclean.

Grand father= death of daughter's son after upanayanam 3 days unclean.

Adopted Son= death of his own father or mother.

Aachaaryan= Your teacher or guru from any gothram who has initiated us into any manthra

1 Day Asoucham:

Death of brother-in-law(machinan) one day unclean

Any relation of step mother who created any time span of asoucham for her.

Only Snaanam:

Death of sister-in-law(machini) or co-brother (shuddagar) only snaanam.

Father in law= death of son in law only snaanam.

Marumaan= death of athai's husband snaanam only.
