The Foolish Wolf

One day, a wolf felt very

hungry and went out to look
for food. He walked through
the jungle but he could
not find any animal that
he could eat.

He was tired but he did not

give up. He kept on looking
for his food.

Then, he saw a rabbit

eating a carrot.
Hi, Rabbit! How are you ?
asked the wolf.

Can I sit with you ? he

continued.

The rabbit was quite

shocked.

Oh, its you,wolf . What

are you doing here? asked
the rabbit.
Im feeling very hungry.
Can I eat you ? asked the
wolf showing off his fangs.

Yes, but can you put up a

challenge with another
stronger wolf ? replied the
rabbit calmly.

A stronger wolf ? I am the

stronger one. No one
would dare to challenge
me! said the wolf.
Come, Ill show you where
he is! replied the
rabbit.

The wolf followed the

rabbit to a nearby lake . It
was covered with
undergrowth.

Look! there he is, pointed

the rabbit.

The wolf attacked blindly.

He fell into the lake. He
shouted for help but
drowned.

The wolf died trying to fight

with his own reflection
in the water.
