ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, the Government has enhanced and
fixed the remuneration to the Contract Lecturers in Government Polytechnics in
the State at Rs.19,000/- (Rupees Nineteen Thousand only) per month from the
Academic Year 2011-12.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Government have issued orders for
the enhancement of the remuneration for contract and outsourced personnel of
certain services in Government Departments and mentioned that in respect of
the categories of services other than those specified in the G.O., which are
having a fixed consolidated remuneration, the remuneration shall be fixed not
exceeding 50% enhancement of the existing remuneration or the minimum of
the time scale attached to the similar category of comparable post in the
Revised Pay Scale 2015, whichever is less.

3. The Government in the reference 3rd read above, have accorded

permission for the renewal of (435) Contract Lecturers working in the
Government Polytechnics in the State for the Academic Year, 2016-17.

4. The Director of Technical Education (I/c), Telangana State, Hyderabad,

vide reference 5th read above has furnished the proposal for enhancement of
the remuneration in terms of the Orders issued in the G.O. 2nd read above for
the enhancement of the remuneration of the Contract Lecturers working in the
Government Polytechnics and proposed the remuneration not exceeding 50%
enhancement of the existing remuneration which is less than the minimum of
the time scale attached to the similar category of comparable post in the RPS,
2015 as Rs.28500/- i.e., Rs.19000/- (existing remuneration) (+) 50% of the
existing remuneration, which is Rs.9500, totalling to Rs.28500/- per month.

5. After careful examination of the matter, the Government hereby enhance

the remuneration of the Contract Lecturers working in the Government
Polytechnics in the State from Rs.19,000/- (Nineteen Thousand only) per month
to Rs.28500/- (Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand and Five Hundred only) per
month in terms of the G.O 2nd read above and accordingly the payment of the
remuneration for the month of January, 2017 (to be paid on 01-02-2017) shall
be made.

6. This Order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance (EBS.IV)

Department vide their U.O.No.16071/01/EBS.IV/HE/2016, dt.16-01-2017.

7. The Commissioner of Technical Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad

shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly and meet the
expenditure from the existing B.E. of 2016-17.
