FEATURES
. Housing-One piece heavy gauge formed aluminum. lnner frame ol extruded aluminum
formed to hold a continuous door seal gasket.
. Door lrame-Extruded aluminum holds tempered clear glass lens. Hinged to housing
with concealed hinge pins. Opens by means ol two quick release spring loaded
latches.
. Oplics-Luminaires ut:lize a parabolic hydroformed, aluminum reflector with
specu lar anodized linish.
. Light patlerns-Design 20 units produce an asymmetric pattern for general area and
roadway lighting applications. Design 40 produces an asymmetric light pattern lor
extended area lighting applications.
. Ballast-Patented ballast drawer assembly contains all electrical components. Automatic
snatch latch allows removal of drawer without tools.
o Mounling arm-Rectangular extruded aluminum arm mounts directly to pole with
concealed mounting hardware.
o Finish-Black or bronze thermoset enamel.
Mounting Arm
Extruded aluminum, mounts
directly to pole with concealed
hardware to lorm a rigid assembly
of luminaire arm and pole.
Provides a large internal wireway
for easy wiring of the fixture to
power supply.

Procedure for Selection of Concourse Poles
To select a pole wiih proper strength and wind load characteristics use the
tollowing procedure.
A, Reler to Concourse Nominal Loading Data Table below. Find the EPA (eliective
projected area) of the luminaire size, shape and contiguration desired.
B. From the pole listing tables select a pole with an EPA rating equal to or
greater than the luminaire EPA rating ior the maximum wind velocity at the
installation location.
To order poles see additional ordering information below the pole listing.
