Tehnik bermain adalah stimulasi yang sangat tepat bagi anak. Tehnik

bermain sebagai suatu aktivitas yang membantu anak mencapai perkembangan

yang utuh, baik fisik, intelektual, sosial, moral dan emosional. (Andriana, 2011).

Orang tua adalah ayah dan ibu kandung. Jadi, dari definisi diatas, maka

dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua yang memiliki anak tuna grahita adalah ayah

dan ibu yang memiliki anak-anak dengan ciri-ciri tuna grahita . Dalam menerima

kehadiran anak dengan gangguan tuna grahita, beragam hal terjadi pada diri

orang tua. Orang tua biasanya stres, kecewa, patah semangat, mencari

pengobatan keman-mana, serba khawatir terhadap masa depan anaknya dan

lain-lain (Farida, 2015 dalam Ramawati, 2017).

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Pre Experimental Design

dengan pendekatan One-Group Pre-Post Test. Sampel pada penelitian ini

sebanyak 21 responden dengan menggunakan random sampling kemudian

dilakukan dengan mengisi kuesioner. Kemudian data di olah dengan

menggunakan SPSS 16 For windows dimulai dengan menggunakan uji

wilcoxcon.

Hasil analisis Pengaruh Pelatihan Tehnik Bermain Terhadap Kemampuan

Orang Tua Merawat Anak Tuna Grahita. Di peroleh bahwa kemampuan orang tua

terbanyak sebelum dilakukan pelatihan tehnik bermain dengan kriteria kurang

baik sejumlah 21 (100.0%) dan kemampuan orang tua terbanyak setelah

dilakukan tehnik bermain dengan kriteria kurang baik sejumlah 16 (76.2%). Hasil

uji statistik p value = 0,025 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 (p<0,05) maka

membuktikan bahwa H1 diterima, yang berati ada pengaruh pelatihan tehnik

bermain terhadap kemampuan orang tua merawat anak tuna grahita.

Pelatihan tehnik bermain disini sangat berpengaruh dengan kemampuan

orang tua dalam merawat anak tuna grahita tehnik terapi bermain terlibat karena

anak-anak yang menderita tuna grahita belum dapat mengekspresikan diri

mereka sendiri secara tepat pada tingkat verbal maupun non verbal.

Playing techniques is a very appropriate stimulation for children. Playing

techniques are activities that help children achieve full development, whether it is

physical, intellectual, social, moral or emotional. (Andriana, 2011).

A father and a mother are parents . hereby, from the definition above, it can

be concluded that the parents who have children with mental disabilities are a

father and a mother who have children with the characteristics of mentally

disabled. In accepting the presence of a child with impaired mental illness,

various things happen to the parents. Parents are usually stressed, disappointed,

discouraged, encouraged to treat the children everywhere, and worried about the

future of their children, etc.(Farida,2015 in Ramawati, 2017).

The research method used is Pre Experimental Design method with One-

Group Pre-Post Test approach. Samples in this research are 21 respondents

using random sampling. then, they are obliged to fill questioners. Later, the data

is processed by using SPSS 16 For windows, begins with the use of wilcoxcon

test.

The analysis result of the Training Influence of playing Techniques toward

the Ability of Parents in Taking Care of Child with mental dissabilities was that

most parents' ability before following the training of playing techniques with bad

criteria was 20 (100.0%) and the most parents ability after following them was 16

(76.2%). The result of statistical test p value was 0,025 with significant level 0,05

(p <0,05) proves that H1 is accepted, which means that there is some effects of

playing techniques training toward the ability of parents in taking care of their

child.

The training of the playing techniques here is very influential toward the

parental abilities in taking care of the mentally impaired children. playing therapy

must be involved because children suffering from mental illiteracy have not been

able to express themselves appropriately at verbal or non verbal levels.
