1.1 This privacy notice sets out the personal data processing practices which American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. group companies
(together American Eagle Outfitters) carry out for the purposes of their external recruitment activities for positions in the European
Union (the EU).

2. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

2.1 American Eagle Outfitters may collect the following types of information from you, including your:

2.1.1 personal data which means information either on its own or in combination with other information that allows you
to be identified (for example, your name and address);

3. COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

3.1 American Eagle Outfitters collects your personal data where you:

3.1.1 submit a query or request for further information;

3.1.2 submit an application for employment; and

3.1.3 voluntarily provide other information.

3.2 American Eagle Outfitters may also collect additional information about you for recruitment purposes from other sources such
as referees, recruitment agencies, head hunters, publicly available information (e.g. LinkedIn and other websites) and any third parties

3.3 For certain roles at an appropriate point in our selection process, we may request specific background screening is undertaken
where lawful to do so and appropriate to the role. This may include searches against criminal records, court records, checks relating to
creditworthiness, credit standing, or credit capacity. We will inform you prior to doing so and obtain your consent. The personal data
obtained from that screening will be used and shared in accordance with this privacy policy.

4. USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

4.1 When American Eagle Outfitters collects, stores, uses, shares, transfers or erases personal data for business purposes, this is
called processing.

4.2 American Eagle Outfitters processes your personal data for a number of recruitment-related purposes, including:

5. SENDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA OVERSEAS

5.1 Your personal data will be collected by and/or transferred to American Eagle Outfitters in the United States of America (the
US) and shared with service providers operating the US. If you are located in the EU you should be aware that US data protection
law is not considered by the EU Commission as offering an equivalent level of protection to personal data nor does it give equivalent
rights to individuals in respect of their data to that which you enjoy under applicable EU data protection laws. Where the personal data
is stored by service providers (data processors) on behalf of American Eagle Outfitters companies established in your country in
the EU which are data controllers of your personal data, those data controller businesses will remain subject to applicable local data
protection laws, and your personal data remains protected thereunder. Where your personal data is transferred to another
American Eagle Outfitters company in the US for its own purposes then it will not be protected by EU laws. Notwithstanding
this, such American Eagle Outfitters recipient businesses in the US will respect and use your personal data in accordance with
this notice.

6. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

6.1 Your personal data will be processed by the HR/recruitment team(s) within American Eagle Outfitters and by other individuals
within American Eagle Outfitters where required in order to deal with your application (including, for example, conducting interviews).

6.2 To ensure that your application is dealt with properly, your personal data may also be accessed by individuals from different
companies within American Eagle Outfitters other than the company to which your application relates.

6.3 In the event that your application is unsuccessful, American Eagle Outfitters may share your personal data between American
Eagle Outfitters companies in order to provide you with details of any alternative vacancies that might be of interest to you.
