1. What is QuickBooks Accountant?

Developed by Intuit, QuickBooks is an accounting software whose products

provide desktop and online accounting applications as well as cloud-based ones which
can process bills and business payments. QuickBooks is mostly targeted at medium and
small businesses. Ease of use and reporting functionality makes QuickBooks popular
among these users.

2. Give and discuss the four basic features of QuickBooks.

1. Reports - and graphs are used to present Financial position and operating results of a
company in a way that makes business decision making easier.8.Centers
provide quick access to commonly used activities and reports.9.In order to
be printed in QuickBooks Accountant, a report must First be created using
the Reports menu, and then printed with the Print button on the Button bar

2. Registers - are used in QuickBooks Accountant to summarize all financial activity for
specific balance sheet accounts such as checking, accounts receivable,
inventory, and accounts payable.

3. Lists - are used to manage names and related information on such things as
customers, vendors, employees, inventory, and accounts, to name a few.

4. Forms - are used to record business activities such as a sale on account

(customer invoice), a purchase (vendor bill), or a payment (check).The
customer invoice, vendor bill, and check are three forms used in
QuickBooks Accountant.

3. Give and discuss the four basic components of QuickBooks.

Title Bar Tells you that you are in the QuickBooks Accountant program and identifies the
company file currently open.
Menu Bar Contains the command menus, which open windows within Quickbooks
Accountant.
Icon Bar Gives you one-click access to the QuickBooks Accountant centers and
Home page.
Active Window Is the window in which you can enter or edit data, and it is identified by
solid window title bar.

4. How do you think QuickBooks can help make decision making?

For my own understanding, QuickBooks is an accounting system that will help the
businesses to provide an accurate presentation of accounting activities of the company.
Through having such appropriate documents, it will give the business an output to use
and analyze for them to come up with a good and helpful decision for their business. 3
