Starter
1. Teacher recall the previous lesson by
asking question:
What have you been learning
during your last class?
Can you give me examples
about what we have learnt?
2. Teacher take out a mystery box and
shows to the pupils.
3. Teacher gives instruction for the
activity.
Teacher chooses pupils at
random to come to the front.
Pupils are asked to open the
mystery box and choose a card
which contains the name of the
animals.
Then, the selected pupils are
asked to do a charade while the
rest of the class need to guess
the name of the animals.
4. Teacher share the LO and SC with the
pupils and asks them what are their
expectations for todays lesson.
Main Activities ACTIVITY 1: POPCORN

1. Teacher recalls pupils knowledge by


asking questions.
What is farm animals?
Can you name the farm animals
that you know?
Do farm animals have their
baby/young?
2. Teacher pastes the story text on Farm
Animals on the whiteboard.
3. Teacher reads the story while pupils
listen.
4. Teacher reads the story and the pupils
follow as a class.
Teacher chooses pupils
randomly to come to the front
and circle the animals and their
young based on the text.
ACTIVITY 2: SHARE AND TURN
1. Pupils are divided into 9 groups.
2. Each group are asked to complete the
table of animals and their young.
3. Teacher distributes pictures on
animals and their young to the weak
group, jumbled letters on animals and
their young to moderate group and
animals picture only for the best
group.(Differentiation)
4. Then, each group are asked to paste
their works on the wall.(Gallery walk)
Each group needs to do a gallery
walk to see their friends work.
Pupils are asked to leave
comments by using sticky notes
provided by the teacher based
on their friends work.
5. Teacher refers to SC.

Plenary ACTIVITY: WORD SEARCH

1. Teacher distributes each groups with


word search.
2. Each group are to complete the word
search.
3. Teacher checks the answers
together with the pupils.
4. Teacher recalls back the pupils on
what they have learned.
5. Teacher checks the LO and SC with
the pupils.
