Instructions: Complete the following table for two of the characters using two different co-teaching models.

Teachers Step by Step Instruction:


Teachers will role play different scenarios in which students are off-task and creating disturbance.
Examples: getting up without permission, making comments out loud, doing other things than the
assignment, taking a long time to prepare for the assignment. Teachers will role play what students
should be doing. Examples: staying in assigned area, being quiet while instruction is going on, doing
the assignment, being prepared for the lesson.
Teachers Guided lesson:
Lesson Activities Students will role play at least one off-task skit and one creating a disturbance skit. They will also role

to make sure they understand the lesson.
Closing:
Teachers will take questions and explain why it important for these social skill strategies to become part
of the students everyday life.

The teachers will have the students place a post it note with their name on it on the Stoplight showing if
they understand, they need more instruction, they dont understand. Or the teacher will do a general
