Early Fall 2017

FCC Missions
FCC sent a team of 15 to Costa Rica this July to serve with
the Abraham Project and help out one of our missionary
families. Since the project is in-between major construction
phases, we did various smaller maintenance jobs, and
created items to be used by the Day Care with the Minds in
Motion program. The timing also worked out great to lend a
hand to Aarn & Candace as they were ready for final
touches on their home, including moving in.

Beyond the doing, much of what our trips are about is

being an encouragement to both local staff and our own
team. We intentionally schedule time simply to be with
one another and do what we can to let people know
FCC cares and is with them. Each FCC team has also
come back with stronger bonds for fellow FCCers and a
greater understanding of missions.

 Wrapping Up Summer
Summers fly around here: Besides individual families vacationing,
SOSs 10th anniversary, and the mission trip, FCC pulled off
another successful Vacation Bible School called Hero Central.

There were Men on a Mission, softball games, the passing of loved
ones, and next steps as Jacks daughters Katherine was wed.
Time flies and it is good to be a part of a local church that values
one another enough to spend time together. We invite you to enrich
your life through intentional involvement @ FCC.
