Process Description Standard Equipment
______________________________________________________________________ _________________________
This PMR-DPR range is designed to separate the crude oil into several side cut, Proxion Mini Refineries
bottoms and overhead streams by using atmospheric distillation process. The streams provides completely
will be cut according to the boiling points pre-determined to meet the product specifica- assembled process modules
tions and standards. The design of the process unit will be to operate at a continuous containing all the necessary
state to the capacity outlined in the scope of supply for 330 days per year while pro- equipment, piping, electrical
cessing the crude oil described in the assay provided. The plant will be skid mounted and instrumentation compo-
and modular designed including the listed process equipment, piping, instrumentation nents.
and all electrical junction boxes located at skid edge. The PMR-DPR does not use
steam for stripping. On-Module equipment in-
Crude oil feedstock is to be delivered to the suction of the crude charge pumps (by Buy- cludes:
ers pipeline) from the outer battery limits, at the required minimum flow and suction
head (NPSH) as required by the pumps. The crude charge pumps, then deliver the Heat Exchangers
crude oil at required pressure and flow to crude distillation column. The process in the Furnace
column splits the crude feed into the following products. Pumps (100% Spared)
Crude Tower
Naphtha Diesel Side Stripper (if
Diesel necessary)
Atmospheric Bottoms Air Coolers
Accumulator Vessel
The process is set up such that the side-draw diesel product can have a wide range of Instrument Air
properties (within limits) depending on the intended use. A side stream stripper column Chemical Injection
is used to remove the light ends from the diesel product. The process is set up to blend Product Sample Cooling
the kerosene with the diesel to maximise the diesel production.
The Process Control System,
Additional draw offs can be added if required. Safety Interlock System, and
Motor Control Center is prefab-
ricated and installed on module.
The unit can be controlled
locally and/or from a remote
control room.
