"Global Citizenship, Locally Rooted Globally Respected"

Locally rooted, Globally respected is the theme of PPSMB Gadjah Mada

University 2016. In order to develop into global citizenship, of course it needs a
strong character that is rooted in ourselves. The characters that must be rooted in
ourselves is the nature of caring the environment and each other. We must respect
the environment and others because we can not live alone. The nature of matter
must be rooted and strong creeping up to us to help us in the future manjulang
high. In addition to caring for the environment, the nature of honesty is also very
important. Honesty is everything. We can not reach our ideals and soaring if we
can not be honest. Because we can not build this country if honesty is still not at
our disposal. Because without honesty, we can not build Indonesia.

As a student at the University of Gadjah Mada, to towering in achieving the

ideals, we need to pay attention to two points. The first is contributions. Indonesia
requires our contribution to help build this country, to build Indonesia into a better
course. If we have the desire to promote Indonesia but we can only stand by, then
it would just be a dream. Contribution in building Indonesia we can do starting
from a simple thing, that obey the laws and regulations in Indonesia. If we
continue to violate existing legislation, then the same thing as we complicate
Indonesia in a country that is orderly and can compete with other countries.

The second point is global citizenship. This point explains that the alumni or
students of University of Gadjah Mada can towered not only in Indonesia, but is
also expected to soaring abroad and bring Indonesia and University of Gadjah
Mada into the eyes of the world. Noble aspiration to make Indonesia not
underestimated by other neraga is one thing we need to realize. Because often lack
that Indonesia had made other nations consider that Indonesia was not anything.

advantages and potential of the country to build the world. We as students of

University of Gadjah Mada should strive to help Indonesia is seen by the
potential that exists to begin with the nature of the concern and honesty are
entrenched and then attempt to build a great Indonesia .
