Cumulative Patch 2

Description
This Cumulative Patch includes fixes for defects issues that have been found in version V8.4 of
Aspen Basic Engineering.
You cannot uninstall this Cumulative Patch. In the unlikely event that you need to remove the
Cumulative Patch, you should uninstall Aspen Basic Engineering V8.4 and then re-install it.
If you require patches for other versions or other products, the easiest way to access these is at
the aspenONE Update Center at http://support.aspentech.com/aspenoneupdates/.

Before Installation

1. Ensure that you are logged in with an account that has administrative rights.

2. Check that all workspaces have been closed when updating the Aspen Basic Engineering
server.

3. Check that all Aspen Basic Engineering applications are not running.

4. Check that Microsoft Excel is not running

Installation

1. Double click on the .exe file for the patch and follow the on-screen instructions

2. ABE V8.4.1, CP2, is an upgrade to an existing client of ABE V8.4, CP1. .
