Submission Guidelines
- Abstract will be accepted in Microsoft Word with BODY text to be Arial 12 point
font.
- Abstract must not have been previously submitted to, or presented at any other
Conference or Seminars.
- Abstract must be between 300 and 500 words, which should be structured into
the following six (6) sections: a. Title of the Paper b. Background c. Objectives d.
Methods e. Results and f. Conclusions.
- Abstract descriptions may not contain tables, pictures, diagrams and symbols. Each
abstract must have a presenting author who will be a registered participant of the
Conference with registration fees fully paid before registration early bird cut off.
Additional Authors will also be required to register if they wish to attend.
- Please note that we will not perform any type of editing of the file, which will,
therefore, be distributed in the format in which it was received.
- The poster should be outlined so the research can be understood without an oral
explanation.
- Authors must be present at the scheduled time, as per the poster program, to
discuss their poster with the delegates. Information is available in the program and
abstract book.
- Each poster should not exceed 1.18 m in length x 0.84 m in width (A0 Portrait
orientation)
- Each poster must have a top banner indicating the title of the paper in CAPITAL
LETTERS, the names of the authors, their affiliations plus paper number (which is
also your poster number) in a large font at the top right hand corner of the poster.
The characters in the banner must be at least 2.5cm tall. Avoid using abbreviations,
acronyms and jargon. Font should be consistent throughout the poster. The title of
the poster and the authors (and their order) must coincide with those of the accept-
ed abstract.
- Do not fold posters: roll them up and carry them in a cardboard or plastic contain-
er. Do not mail poster presentations in advance; bring them with you to the Confer-
ence, preferable as cabin luggage. Alternatively, have them printed in Malaysia.
- Authors are responsible for setting up and removing their posters themselves
according to the Conference program. Adhesive materials are to be provided by the
presenting authors.
- Details will be communicated to the author once abstract has been accepted.
POSTER
