On February 19, 2010, complainant Hilario Bumagat filed a letter complaint before
the Office of the City Mayor for the demolition the illegal structure of Ernesto Marias or
Simon Hora built within a road right of way. Ernesto Marias is the husband and Simon Hora
is the brother of the herein respondent.
On July 13, 2010, complainant sent a letter to the Office of the City Mayor stating
that as early as April 28, 2005, the Office of the City Mayor, through the Anti-Squatting and
Illegal Structures Committee recommended the demolition of the structure and that on July 2,
2008, a Notice of Demolition was issued by the Office of the City Mayor.

oppositions the purchase was not approved.
The on May 9, 2011, Simon Hora filed a complaint for injunction against the City of Baguio,
before the Regional Trial Court. Simon Hora seeks to enjoin the Demolition of his illegal
structures. No injunction was issued and the case was subsequently dismissed.

opposing the purchase of the lot by Simon Hora.
