Binary Logic
1. Batmans Turmoil :
The blue towel really is yellow, but it is always called the blue towel because King
Henry the 87th, of true blue blood, had washed his face with it in the 13th century. A
small blue streak of blood, said to have been originated when the king cut his finger,
testifies to it. It was stolen and the task to find it was given to The Batman.
The Dark Knight was looking at the interrogation statements of 5 well known
criminals. It had already been established that one of them had stolen the towel.
It also had already been established that of the four suspects, exactly one spoke the
truth. Bruce Wayne looked at their statements:
Ras Al Ghul: it wasn't Bane Scarecrow: it wasn't Joker
it was Scarecrow it wasn't Bane
Joker: it was Bane Penguin: it was Joker
it wasn't Ras Al Ghul it was Scarecrow
Bane: it was Penguin
it wasn't Ras Al Ghul
so, who was the thief?
2. The Election Confusion:
Three persons give these statements.
A says either Captain Vijayakanth or Rahul Gandhi wins the elections.
B says Captain Vijayakanth wins.
C says neither Captain Vijayakanth nor Rahul Gandhi wins the elections.
Of these statements only one is wrong. Who wins the elections?
(a) Captain Vijayakanth (b) Rahul Gandhi (c) Both (d) Neither
3. Actor Disaster:
(i) If only one out of all above statements is true, who did it?
(a) Aamir khan (b) Salman khan (c) Akshay kumar (d) Sharukh khan
(ii) If only one out of all above statements is false, who did it?
(a) Aamir khan (b) Salman khan (c) Akshay kumar (d) Sharukh khan

Questions for Hotshots:
You've landed in the Great Island of Ching-mung-ching. You find yourself in a land
of Knights and Knaves, who understand your language but don't speak it. You neither
understand nor speak their language, but you do know their words for yes and no,
"yok" and "pom". Unfortunately, you don't know which is what. And of course, as
always, Knights tell the truth, while knaves lie.
You find yourself at a fork in the road, unsure which road to take, when you see
someone coming down one of the roads you are considering. You don't know if it's a
knight or a knave.
Is there a single question you can ask, answerable with "yok" or "pom that tells you
which way to go?
Once again, you landed on the island of Knights and Knaves where Knights always
tell the truth and Knaves always lie. You set out to find their respective clan leaders,
Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama. You really wanted to talk with Obama.
You find them both at the same time, one in a Red hat and the other in a Blue hat.
But you are not sure who was who and also not sure who was knight or the knave or
both or neither. You asked both of them: "Is Hitler a Knight?" Only the one with the
blue hat answered, and you can't remember what he says. (Either yes or no).
But you do remember that at that point you are able to tell who is who.
So, what colour was Hitler's Hat?

Whirlwind Questions:
1. Out of three persons A, B and C, one always lies while the other two always speak the
truth.
2. Patrick and Castle are talking to each other, but we don't yet know who is who.
If at least one of them lied, what colour shirt is Patrick Jane wearing?
King Joffrey Baratheon has a cellar of 1000 bottles of delightful and very expensive
wine. Lord Petyr Baelish plots to kill the bad king and sends a servant to poison the
wine. Fortunately (or say unfortunately) Lord Tyrion (who was the Kings hand)
catches the servant after he had poisoned only one bottle. He doesnt know which
bottle is poisoned but knows for sure that the poison is so strong that even if
diluted 1,00,000 times it would still kill the king. Furthermore, it takes one month
to have an effect. The king needs the rest of the wine (999 bottles) at his
anniversary party due in 5 weeks time. So, Tyrion decides to get some of the
prisoners from the vast dungeons to drink the wine to find the poisoned bottle.
Being a clever person, Tyrion decides to find the minimum number of prisoners
required to find the poisoned bottle.
So how many Prisoners does Tyrion need to find the poisoned Bottle?
