YT Lesson 1

Introduction of Gods Eternal Covenant

The Heavenly Revelation

We are going to be looking at Gods Eternal Covenant. In this lesson, we are
going to be considering His plan for His creation of humanity. In so doing, we are going
to discover Who God is, why He created His creation of mankind and what was His
purpose in doing so.

We will also discover that God never does anything haphazardly. Everything God
does is with purpose of design and that within Gods design, order is everything.

The Scripture records in the Book of Proverbs Wisdom is the principle thing;
therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Prov. 4:7).

Man is filled to the brim and overflowing with emptiness. Pursuing this thing and
pursuing that thing, humanity seeks to fill that emptiness but with what, they know not.

Jeremiah 10:23 the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh
to direct his step. In other words, man does not know what he is doing, or where he is
going, or why he is here on the planet.

The Scriptures What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his
soul? (Mark 8:36). Thus, humanity flits from experiences and relationships, jobs and so
on, in the so-called pursuit of happiness in the hopes of filling the emptiness. What is
missing in mans life is wisdom and peace found in his purpose of creation.

Recorded in the Genesis record ~ the book of beginnings ~ is the record of Gods
Eternal Covenant ~ His plan for His creation of humanity and the secret of the fulfillment
of mans happiness and Gods greatest joy.

God who is Spirit in Being and Divine in nature said Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness and lets let them have dominion over everything made.

Let us let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, the
cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth (see
Genesis 1:26).

Thus, simply put in a word or two, Gods Eternal Covenant for His creation of
humanity was to make them in His image, after His likeness and then give them
everything created and made ~ for their enjoyment. Sounds marvelous doesnt it?

So, if thats true, why isnt man enjoying what God has given him? And for that
matter, seeing that God is Spirit in Being and Divine in nature how is it possible for man
who is a creation and lawless in nature to be in the image of God? (Genesis 1:27).

YT Lesson 1

The Image of God:

God cannot be other than He is. God is Life Eternal. Eternal life is well, eternal ~
it is without beginning and without end. God is Spirit ~ spirit is immaterial and invisible.
God does not have a material visible image.

God is Deity in Being ~ He alone is God, uncreated, pre-existent, self-existent.

God is Righteous. Righteousness is an attribute of God and only God. Only God does
that which is absolutely right.

God Spirit Being of Deity is one God but three personal beings. God is a
personal being of mind, will and emotion. God thinks and wills and feels.

Each Being of the Godhead is always and only in unity with one another. God is
All Seeing, All Knowing, and Everywhere Present. God is other than His creation.

Thus, to the natural mind, Gods plan to make man who is a creation of God ~ all
things created have a beginning and end, in Gods image ~ after His likeness seems
impossible.

Not only does the impossibility of the plan seem far-fetched, but God declared
His plan for a creation of man in His image, after His likeness before He ever created
man in eternity past.

Before time was, before God ever set anything into motion He made a covenant
with Himself ~ a legal contract for sons of God which He would ratify in time with the
shedding of His blood.

The revelation of this plan of God for a creation of man in His image after His
likeness ~ a Kingdom of sons of God ~ a kingdom of priests, is first declared in the
blueprint of the Eternal Covenant of the 12 stars with their signs in the heavens.

In the beginning, with the creation of the heavens and the earth, God the Creator
set His plan in motion and He declared that plan of His Righteousness and Glory in the
signs and seasons of the luminaries (Psalm 19:1-6; 50:4; 97:6; Isaiah 40:25-26 and
Genesis 1:14) and then confirmed the plan in the written Word of God as the Word itself
declares.

Order is everything to God. He is a God of order and not confusion. Seen in the
figurative message of the stars with their signs is the Eternal Covenant of the hope of
Eternal life for a household of sons of God ~ a kingdom of priests begun in eternity
(Titus 1:2).

The reason for this order of revelation ~ in the heavens first and then recorded in
the written word ~ is so that man might understand that the fulfillment of Gods Eternal

2
YT Lesson 1

Covenant is dependent on God Himself. Man has no part in the fulfilling or keeping of
Gods Eternal Covenant. Mans part so to speak is in the receiving of Gods gift.

On the fourth day of creation, as a result of separating light from the darkness
and creating the great light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to
rule the night, God created the dimension of time.

Prior to sun, earth, and moon rotations and orbits, upon which we base our
seconds, hours, days, months, seasons, and years, there was no definable time as we
know it today, only eternity.

Genesis 1:14-19:

When God established evening and morning, (notice the Scriptures say evening
first) He established the length of the day. The evening is first due to the importance of
the message of Gods Covenant.

Yet with the creation of the light holders ~ the sun, moon and stars ~ God gave
His creation of humanity a means by which to measure the length of the day.

Gods cosmos is ruled by mathematical equations. The universe cannot change;

everything is synchronized in a prearranged order.

God uses numbers in His symmetrical design to manifest certain truths

concerning Himself and His works. This is known as the figurative language of scriptural
numerology. Thus, God names the days of His week with ordinals and not names.

The sun, which rules the day, and the moon and stars that govern the night,
do so by their passage through the twelve signs of the Eternal Covenant in the
luminaries. With days and years we understand the astronomical bodies measure
time.

The light holders literally shine to the four corners of the earth figuratively for
signs and for seasons, and for days and years. God uses these light holders, the 12 star
luminaries with their signs of the heavens, for a prophetic revelation. The Scriptures say
that God created the stars and He named them for that purpose (Psalm 8:3; 147:4;
Isaiah 40:25-26).
The word signs in the Hebrew has the meaning a mark. A sign is a mark of
something other than itself. Hence the stars with their signs, mark out something other
than the twinkle of light.
For example:
The do not enter sign signifies ~ this is not the way to go. Or the symbol or
sign of the heart signifies love.

3
YT Lesson 1

The Hebrew word for seasons is not connected with the annual seasons but
has the meaning appointed times ~ Psalm 104:19: He made the moon to mark the
seasons.
Now then, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God is not revealed in the
configurations of the stars but in the meanings of the figurative message of the
names of the stars with their signs displayed, as has been revealed in ancient star
charts (see Romans 10:14-18).

Before we continue I want to make perfectly clear what is being discussed and
what is not being discussed.

I am convinced that much of what goes under the name Christianity in our day
and age has not the remotest relation to Christ and His redeeming work.

We are considering Gods Eternal Covenant as is declared in the 12 signs of the

Zodiac with its constellations and decans. Everything begins and ends with God, as the
Genesis record clearly states ~ in the Beginning God.

Zodiac:

The word Zodiac means a circle and comes from the Greek word zodiakos.
The root meaning comes from a primitive root, zoad, and denotes a way or a path or
going by steps.

The Hebrew word for Zodiac is Mazzaroth, meaning, the separated, the divided,
and the apportioned, and refers to the allotted spaces given to the twelve signs in the
circle of the Mazzaroth or Zodiac. In the Scriptures, these allotted spaces are referred to
as the host of heaven.

The sun travels the ecliptic path of the Zodiac or appears to move through the
stars in twelve months. This path repeats every year as the apparent position of the
sun returns to almost the exact spot that it occupied on the same date the previous
year.

The author to the Hebrews writes, Through faith, we understand that the ages
of these hoped for things are framed by the word of God (Hebrews 11:3).

The Greek verb to frame means to set in order, to adjust, to fit or finish.

In English, a framework is an established order or a planned system, the way a

thing is put together. The frame is the border in which a thing is set, a support on which
something is stretched.

4
YT Lesson 1

Constellations and Decans:

The Constellations are the twelve segments of the signs in the Zodiac. The word decan
means a part. Each constellation has three decans.

The figurative message of each decan in the star names is a part of that
constellations message. The Psalmist records in Psalm 19:4 Their line is gone out
throughout all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. This means the stars
have a voice because they have a figurative message that they want to share.

As mentioned The way of man is not in himself ~ man does not know the
purpose of his being without direction from God (Jeremiah 10:23).

Therefore, from before the creation of man, God laid out the way or path of steps
for His creation of humanity in the heavens ~ declaring Gods glory for His creation of
mankind ~ that they might be born sons of God.

Fixed in the heavenly revelation is the way a man should go ~ Gods way.
Following the path laid out for him by his creator, man fills the emptiness of his life with
purpose and discovers true heart satisfaction.

God is the originator. The signs of the Zodiac are not the figment of mans
imagination. God forbid!

The light holders to give light upon the earth ~ the stars with their signs and the
moon with its lunar phases are signs and seasons of the heavenly revelation ordained
of God to indicate events in the life of the Covenant Son ~ Jesus the birthed Son of
God.

Astrology:

Again, please let me make perfectly clear what we are not discussing. We are not
discussing Astrology.

Astrology is the study that assumes and attempts to interpret the influence of
the heavenly bodies on human affairs. Today we call this study the reading of the
horoscope.

The horoscope is an astrologers description of the personality and future of a

person based on the position of the planets in relation to the sign of the Zodiac under
which the person was born.

Those persons who attempt such things are known in the Scriptures as false
prophets. Nor are we discussing the worshipping of the luminaries.

5
YT Lesson 1

The worship of the host of heaven is strictly forbidden of God. This worship of the
host is the reason that the LORD scattered His creation of humanity at the tower of
Babel in Genesis 11:1-9.

What we are looking at is the plan the LORD God set within a frame laid out in
His heaven as a blueprint.

He wrote His testimony in the heavens as a witness to the good news of His
Covenant Son ~ The LORD Jesus Christ, the power of God unto salvation (Romans
1:16).

Understanding Gods Covenant in light of the word of God gives man a rightly-
directed reverence for God and a true understanding of his purpose as a creation of
God.

In the figurative message of the stretched-out firmament, the heavenly luminaries

bear witness to the unseen future hoped for realities (Psalm 19:1-6).

If we dont look at the Eternal Covenant in the way God designed it to be seen ~
if we dont look at what God is doing with the eyes of our understanding, then we will
miss the wisdom of the glory of God declared in it.

The Eternal Covenant figured in the signs and seasons is the legal expression
of the contract of that which God is doing between the parties of the Counsels of the
Godhead to have a creation of sons of God ~ man in His image, after His likeness.

Star Chart:
As previously said, the sun travels the ecliptic path of the Zodiac or appears to
move through the stars in twelve months. Thus, from the position of the earth one would
see only a portion of Gods Covenant and not the whole pictorial.

The only place the design of Gods whole Eternal covenant is seen is on a star
chart. Circular in design, star charts have no compass. There is no directional indicator
indicating which direction the chart is to be read and there is no period of time on the
circular ~ there are no months listed on the drawing.

Therefore, without knowledge or understanding of the signs and seasons of the

figurative message of the star names with their signs to give light upon the earth, it
would be impossible to have a knowledge or understanding of what the star charts or of
the figures drawn intend or depict.
Thus, it stands to reason that the first record of the message of the signs and
seasons was written down by the first man as it was shown him by his Creator who
walked and talked with him in the garden (see Genesis 3:8-13).

6
YT Lesson 1

For God to fulfill His purpose to have sons of God ~ man in His image, after His
likeness as is declared in His Eternal Covenant He must have Seed. All sons come from
seed, that is the law of life. All of humanity comes from seed.

There is not anything living that did not come from a material visible seed flesh of
its own kind, as the Genesis record clearly states. Unlike the birth of sons of humanity ~
the birth of sons of God is voluntary. To be born a son of God one must receive the gift
of the Seed of Eternal life offered.

But what exactly are we speaking of by the term seed as it pertains to the
immaterial and invisible Spirit Being of Deity? The answer to that question will be the
topic of our next lesson as we take a look at the seed of flesh ~ the seed coat covering
of the Seed of the Eternal life that God prepared for His Covenant Son of the virgins
womb.

This concludes our lesson. If youd like to prepare for the next lesson ~ please read
Genesis 1:11-13, Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 2:7, Isaiah 7:14 and Psalm 22:9,10.
