1) Diagram 1 shows two circles, centre A and B, each of radius 5 cm, touching each other externally at X.
Both of them touch another bigger circle of radius 13 cm, internally at C and D respectively.

(a) Shows that the angle subtended by the arc PQR at the centre O, POR is 1.855 radians.
(b) Calculate
(i) the total length, in cm, of the material is needed to build the aluminum frame,
(ii) the area, in cm2, of the segment PQRS.

4) Use the graph paper to answer this question.

the following table.

(b) From your graph,
(i) mark on your graph the point for which T is wrongly recorded. Hence, estimate the possible
value of T,
(ii) find the value of k,
(iii) find the mass when the period is 1.18 s.
