ISSUES AND CHALLENGES
1) Inadequate Access to Quality Healthcare
- Inadequate public healthcare facilities for the poor and low income household
- Lack of connectivity and frequency of mobile healthcare services

2) Burden of Disease
Increase accurence on Communicable Diseases (TB, HIV, Ebola) co-exist with Non-
Communicable Disease (Diabetes, Kidney, Cancer) Immigrant, Awareness, Knowledge
and Lifestyle

3) Pressure on Healthcare Delivery


- Overcrowding in the public healthcare services
- A relatively high cost at private healthcare services
- lack of medical specialist and high expectation of quality general public healthcare.

4) Low involvement of Stakeholders in Healthcare Delivery


- Low support and involvement from the community
- Lack of collaboration among the public sector, private sector and NGOs
