bathrooms, mopped floors, vacuumed rooms and emptied trashcans. Im not afraid to get my

community, as well as creating forums for students to engage in a cultural exchange.
Kenya. (April 2009) - spent 9 days teaching helping skills to college leaders and led groups (on
self-esteem, identity formation, and grief work) at an orphanage.
Kazakhstan. (June 2009-August 2011) spent two years pioneering a university connections
organization; developed relationships, developed team building opportunities, taught leadership,
and led large community gatherings.
Lebanon. (March 2012) spent two weeks teaching identity development to students and
developing strategies with expats to build healthy communities and peace talks.
Afghanistan. (March 2013, 2014, and 2015) Spent two weeks on each trip meeting with local
Afghans to discuss community development strategies and peacemaking strategies.
