A Limitation of the Site

The Contractor will be required to confine his


activities within the boundaries of the site
including the storage of materials, the positioning
of plant and offices and all other equipment
needed for the execution of the Contract. A
temporary fence shall be erected around the
boundary of the site construction of new 24 g
galvanized sheet steel 2 meters high & as per L.S.
Dawing and Specafication .

B Water for the Works

The Contractor shall supply clean water for the

works including the works of sub-contractors and


shall supply all temporary plumbing pipework and
storage tanks that may be required pending the
laying of the permanent water main or the
availability thereof and shall pay all fees for
connection and all charges for water consumed.
In the event of a piped water supply not being
readily available at the site the Contractor will be
required at his own expense to transport water to
the site by tanker. L.S.

C Soil Investigation

The Contractor shall carry out a careful study of


soil conditions (investigation) by means of at least
three bore holes to a depth 20 Mts. and 3 copies of
soil test report is to be submitted to the Consultant
for approval before commencing any foundations

A Site Working Conditions

Throughout the period of construction of the


works, the Contractor shall maintain the whole
area of his operations in a clean, tidy and safe
condition by arranging his materials in an orderly
manner. All rubbish, waste material, debris and
the like shall be cleared off the working area as it
accumulates and if not removed directly off the
site shall be deposited at general collecting points
allocated by the Engineer pending removal from

that may be required pending the laying of the
permanent cable or the availability thereof and shall

the current consumed. In the event of the electricity
supply not being readily available, the Contractor
will be required at his own expense to supply,
