Meanwhile, Ampera university, the private institution has provided access to internet

and the LCD projector since 2011 through collaboration with private company. The

internet access is accessible to be used for all classes. Its twenty megabyte capacity of

internet access make it possible for this four-storey building institution to supply

access to sixty numbers of classrooms. Its use among the students and the lecturers

are relatively easy due the fact that each student and lecturer is established username

and password to log in but limited to the number of users during office or school

hours, the weather and types of activity access that is whether it is for viewing or

downloading materials such as pictures, audio or video. When the number of users are

not too many, the weather is relatively stable with no heavy rain, thunder or strong

wind and the activity is not for downloading audio or videos, the access will be

relatively easy to use. In addition, it has one multimedia classroom which is designed

in flexible chair-less layout with spacious area of a classroom suitable for other type

of course such as drama beside its main utilization for listening and test preparation-

related courses. The multimedia room is limited to a strict timetable arranged to

prioritize its use for listening course. Although there is no specific vision for

technology use but this provision has encouraged the lecturer an attempt to integrate

power point, Facebook, mobile phone, You Tube videos into teaching process. For

ELESP B itself, there is yet specific desire to specifically integrate technology into the

curriculum because this department does not have any technology-related course. The

support for the lecturers were given by informing them workshops or conferences

about the issues of using technology for teaching and allowing them permission to

attend those professional activities. However, its integration for teaching come merely

and primarily from the individual lecturer.
