Ready Math Curriculum
iReady Math Access
Mission: The mission of the Everyday Math and Ready Math Kindergarten Center Development is to create a comprehensive plan for kindergarten math stations that will be easily utilized by kindergarten teachers. The stations will encompass the six main aspects of kindergarten math, and will provide opportunities for students to learn visually, aurally, and kinesthetically. Teachers will have the ability to evaluate through observation and checklists.
Center Goals: Students will enjoy math through authentic, hands-on practice. Students will master kindergarten math goals through practice at math centers. Students will meet each of the center objectives (noted in Curriculum Content)
Format: The Center Development will be presented as both a Weebly website and a manual that will incorporate materials, instructions, and pictures of created centers.

Evaluation Methods: Students will be evaluated formatively on observation checklists.
Accommodations for Students with Disabilities: Students with disabilities will be provided with accommodations based on their needs. All materials can be enlarged for students with visual impairments. All materials are visual for students with hearing impairments. Centers can also be minimized, so the task is smaller and more manageable. For additional accommodations, the learning support teacher will be contacted for suggestions.
Curriculum Content:
Center Objective Materials Evaluation Counting Using the number Number Chart Weekly Observation Numbers to chart, the Counters Checklist 100 kindergarten Markers students will count Whiteboards the numbers 1-100 Straws with 95% accuracy. Playdoh
Writing Using a whiteboard, Whiteboard Monthly Observation Numbers the kindergarten Expo Markers Checklist students will write Number Sheets the numbers 1-20 in Ipads four out of five trials. Sandpaper Numbers Adding Using a worksheet Counters Observation Checklist within 10 and counters, the Beads kindergarten Addition students will worksheets complete ten Addition Cards addition problems. Subtracting Using a worksheet Counters Observation Checklist within 10 and counters, the Beads kindergarten Subtraction students will worksheets complete ten Subtraction Cards subtraction Crayons problems. Classifying Using Objects of Different sized Weekly Observation objects different sizes, the objects Checklist kindergarten Bin with four students will sort compartments objects into 4 groups with 90%accuracy. Naming, Using shapes, the Playdoh Weekly Observation comparing, students will name Sand Checklist and building each shape with Whiteboard shapes 100% accuracy.
