Record of Field Experiences

Course Hours Location Brief Description of Experience


In this experience I worked with a second grade class of
about 20 students. At this experience I observed the
Hillcrest teacher and children in their daily classroom routine. I had

the whole class as well as one-on-one with each student
individually.
I worked with many different age groups while at this
Childrens field experience. I had the chance to work both one-on-

stationed at different parts of the museum.
During my assistant teaching experience I had the
opportunity to work with five student teachers and three

assisting with the planning and implementation of lessons,

parent communication.
I completed two 30 minute observations in different

classrooms. The first observation was in the toddler (3-4)

the classroom as a whole as well as focus on one child in

In this experience I observed and helped in their infant two

During my student teaching experience I was able to

ELED 395 45 Camelot This practicum took place twice a week in Becky Palmers
Hours Elementary fifth grade math and social studies classroom. I had the
Brookings, SD opportunity to teach five lessons and assist in the
classroom as needed. My assistance included completing
tasks such as helping with fieldtrips, guiding individual
students with assignments, leading small group
readings/discussions, co-teaching lessons, and grading
assignments.
