Research - Depth of Field

The depth of field is understanding the difference between the nearest and the
furthest objects given a focused image.
To increase the depth of field you:
- Narrow your
aperture
- Move further away
from the object
- Shorten focal
length

To decrease the depth of

field you:
- Widen your
aperture
- Move closer to the
subject
- Lengthen your
focal length

The closer your subject is to the camera, the shallower your depth of field
becomes. Therefore, moving further away from your subject will deepen your
depth of field.
