1.10 Activity: Drivetrain Construction

Question 1 What factors could cause your drive train to bind or perform poorly?

If the cables were placed in the way of any of the moving parts, which could
cause them to become caught, both stopping the motors from moving, and
possibly damaging the wires.
You could also run into issues, if you failed to properly attach the moors, or the
battery to the main board, since poorly connected/unconnected motors will
perform very poorly, if at all.
Question 2 What steps would you take to prevent these factors from affecting your robot?

Double check to make sure that the wires arent in a place that they could be
caught, and constantly checking to make sure that the electronics are all
connected properly.
