Gods
There are three major pantheons acknowledged among humans; The Three (Known among
the Learned as the Triumvirate), the Peripherals and the Adversaries. Throughout
Althara, three gods dominate the lives of most, and it is no different in Sarth.
These gods and their followers hold more power than any single government; all
others are considered very minor at best and troublemakers at worst. However, many
people still follow these "outer" gods in parts of Altara, though in some areas,
notably Swadia and their capital city of Doctrine, worshipping other gods is highly
suspect behavior. Non-human worshippers have much more freedom in who they choose,
due to the assumption that they will follow stranger gods.

Parleth, LG, God of the Nobility: Knowledge, Light

Ahra, NG, Goddess of the Peasantry: Life, Nature
Volen, LN, God of the Soldier: War, Tempest

Other worshipped gods who aren't directly evil will be listed with a frowned upon
rating from 1 to 5.
1: Generally considered minor, even the Doctrinites don't mind it much.
Alternitavely, a god who is worshipped by a part of society ubiquitous enough to be
accepted, but is not part of the great three.
2: A god for a class who tend to buck against the status quo but in ways not
directly opposed to the interests of society, like Wizards or monks
3: A god for those who rebel against society but are still part of it, like
tricksters, rogues, bards and artists.
4: A god for those who are actively opposed to keeping civilation from expanding or
to disrupt the power of the status quo, like Druids, Rangers, Green Knights and
Sorcerers
5: A wild, destructive or very alien diety with goals which would be offensive to
most civilized people, worshipped by most Warlocks and Barbarians.

There are also a handful of gods with no descernable gender... I used the term
deity to denote these. They tend to be ideas or representations of something,
rather than humanized beings

The gods themselves are

Rox, LG, Goddess of Craftsmen and honest trade, 1
Tirnan, NG, God of the Sun and Healing, 1
Sheylin, CG, Goddess of Music, Art and Revelry, 3 (Bards)
Ranald, CN, God of thieves, rogues and Luck, 3 (Rogues)
Valtanth, CG, God of Liberty, Retribution and Just Rebellion, 4 (Sorcerers, Black
Knights)
Melora, CG, Goddess of the Woodlands (Green Knights) 4
Taxorammuz, N, Deity of Dragons and the Dragonblooded, 4
The Madrossar, N, Deity of Magic (Wizards) 2
Adara Stormbringer, CN, Goddess of Wrathful Nature, 5 (Barbarians and wilder
Rangers)
Tree's heart, LN, Deity of peaceful nature, 4 (Druids and calmer Rangers)
Han-tho The Enlightener, N, God of Discipline and Asceticism, Monks, 2

Here are some popular choices for Warlocks who don't want to burn the world down,
as well.
Archfey: Talathinir of the Feywilds
Fiend: Iunix The Tempter
GOO: The Watcher, that which exists to observe

In addition, of special mention is the peculiar exception of the Peaceful Queen.

While she is not worshipped in a traditional sense by anyone, most know of her, for
she is the Goddess of Death. Cemetaries are known as Gardens of Peace in her honor,
and all eventually will walk through her realm before finding their true home,
whether that be a place of suffering or bliss, order or chaos. The peaceful queen
rules over the realm of the Ghostlands, and it is said all gods heed her wise
council, for she possesses the knowledge of all those who have ever died.

The Adversaries are all gods who represent something considered truly evil. Also
known as the Bleak Six, the Adversaries are all universally despised by all people
not under the sway of one of their domains.
