Subject:- REG UPLOAD ACTION PLAN FOR PROCUREMENT OF STOREs

DURING THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2017-18 on CRPF WEBSITE.

It is submitted that as per Rule 144(x) of GFR-2017, all ministries/

Departments shall prepare annual Procurement Plan before the commencement of
the year and the same should also be placed on their website and competent
authority has desired to expedite the procurement process for optimum utilization of
allotted budget well before the closing of financial year 2017-18.

In this connection Procurement cell vide their ION of even No. dated
08/05/17 has requested all branches of Dte. to prepare their procurement plan of
centralised non R/C item and to forward this cell for consolidation and further
uploading the same on CRPF website. Now details of items to be purchased
through advertised tender, Rate contract, OFB, MOD Army and GeM have
been received in this cell from all branches except Trg. Dte. Consolidated list
of item with quantity has been prepared (excluding the items to be purchased
through OFB and MOD Army by ITBP) and same is placed at Appendix-A. NSG has
also published its procurement plan in the same format.

DIG (Prov) Dte vide ION No. B.IV.2/2017-18-Prov-DA-4-Bgt dated

14/06/17 (F/A) has intimated that considering the security aspect of the Force
strategic/vital information like specification of OPS defensive materials/details of
Arms & Ammn and items of such nature proposed for procurement in the Annual
Procurement Plan 2017-18 may not be published on the website.

In this connection it is intimated that since QRs/ Specifications of Ops

defensive material/ Arms & Ammn are not being mentioned in the procurement plan,
hence there is no risk of breach of security. Further, it is alsos added that NSG has
published all the items including Arms/Ammns and special equipments (F/B).

Hence, in accordance to Rule 144(x) of GFR-2017, if approved

procurement plan for purchase of items including Arms/Ammns through advertised
tender, Rate contract and GeM during the financial year 2017-18 as placed at
Appendix-A may be published on CRPF website.
