The Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women (ADEW) and the Italian-Egyptian Debt Swap Programme under the overall supervision of the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, and the Italian Embassy in Cairo/Italian Agency for Development Cooperation Tamkeen jf Project gy Sustainable Development for Women of Fayoum “Tamkeen’” Project Sustainable Development for Women of Fayoum These three sets of statistics made Fayoum one of the governorates most in need of developmental projects that aim at improving the standards of living, empowering individuals at all levels, and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development for its residents. In this context, the Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women (ADEW) is collaborating with the Italian-Egyptian Debt Swap Programme, under the overall supervision of the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, and the Italian Embassy in Cairo/ Italian Agency for Development Cooperation , to implement "Tamkeen Project in Fayoum Governorate”. The University of Fayoum took part in the first medical caravan in Al Ameriya village represented by the President of the University Dr. Khaled Hamza and the ‘Community Service and Environment Development Sector as well as the Faculty of Medicine.
