ABSTRAK

Hipertensi merupakan peningkatan tekanan darah secara terus-menerus dalam

waktu yang lama. Hipertensi dapat memicu kerusakan ginjal. Namun, hipertensi
juga dapat terjadi akibat kerusakan ginjal. Mana yang lebih dulu terjadi itulah
yang menjadi faktor risiko dari kedua penyakit tersebut. Salah satu penanganan
non farmakologi pada hipertensi adalah melalui diet DASH (Dietary Approaches
to Stop Hypertension). Diet DASH merupakan pendekatan pola makan untuk
menghentikan hipertensi. Faktor penunjang kelansungan pengobatan ini adalah
pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku penderita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah
Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan tentang Diet DASH
dengan kejadian hipertensi pada penderita gagal ginjal kronik di Instalasi
Hemodialisa RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Tahun 2013. Penelitian
ini menggunakan metode penelitian analitik yaitu cross sectional. Populasi
penelitian ini adalah semua penderita gagal ginjal kronik di Instalasi Hemodialisa
RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 67
responden dengan mengunakan metode random sampling dan teknik simple
random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan analisis
bivariat pada variabel independen (pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan) dengan
variabel dependen (kejadian hipertensi). Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan
bahwa dari 67 responden terdapat 95,5% hipertensi, 38,8% pengetahuan baik,
65,7% sikap positif, dan 58,2% tindakan aktif. Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan
bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian
hipertensi (p value=0,499), tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap
dengan kejadian hipertensi (p value=0,546) dan tidak ada hubungan yang
signifikan antara tindakan dengan kejadian hipertensi (p value=0,259). Saran bagi
perawat Instalasi Hemodialisa, diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi terkait
masalah kesehatan yaitu hipertensi dan Diet DASH pada penderita gagal ginjal
kronik di Instalasi Hemodialisa RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang.

ABSTARCT

Hypertension is increase in blood pressure continuously in a long time. However,

hypertension may also occur due to kidney damage. Where the earlier case that
was the risk factor of these two diseases. One of the non pharmacological
treatment on hypertension is DASH diet. The DASH diet is a dietary approaches
to stop hypertension. The factors supporting this treatment is the knowledge,
attitude and behavior of the patients. The aim of this research is to find out
knowledge, relations the attitudes and the act of about diet dash with the incident
hypertension in people with kidney failure of a chronicle in installation
hemodialisa rsup dr. Mohammad hoesin palembang 2013. This research using
analytic methods research is cross sectional. The population of this research is all
patients with renal failure of a chronicle in installation hemodialisa rsup dr.
Mohammad hoesin palembang. Samples to be taken were 67 respondents using a
method of random sampling and engineering simple random sampling. Analysis
of data and analysis conducted by analysis univariat bivariat ( knowledge, on the
independent variable the attitudes and actions ) with the dependent variable for (
the incident hypertension ). The result analysis univariat show that from 67 % of
respondents there are 95,5 hypertension, 38,8 % of knowledge of good, 65,7 %
positive attitude, and 58,2 % the act of active. The result analysis bivariat got that
not a significant relation exists between knowledge by the incident hypertension (
p value = 0,499 ), not a significant relation exists between attitude with the
incident hypertension ( p value = 0,546 ) and not a significant relation exists
between the act of with the incident hypertension ( p value = 0,259 ). Suggestion
for nurses hemodialisa, installation is expected to provide information related to
health problems such as hypertension and the diet of dash in people with kidney
failure of a chronicle in installation hemodialisa rsup dr. Mohammad Hoesin
Palembang.
