Activity on

TRENDS IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY


Instructions:

a. Each group is assigned a TREND in educational technology;


b. The group will prepare a 3-5 mins presentation of their assigned topic;

c. The group will create an audio-visual aid for the presentation;

d. Audio-visual presentation should be constructed creatively using any presentation

software EXCEPT MICROSOFT POWERPOINT;


e. The number of presenters will be according to the discretion of the group. However,

signs of cooperation should be visible all throughout the presentation.

f. The content of the presentation should answer the following questions; What is the
trend about? How is it applied in instruction? What is its impact to the academe?

What are its advantages and disadvantages? What is your opinion to this trend?

g. The following will be the group assignment;

Group 2: Open Educational Resources (OER)

Group 3: Learning Platform


Group 4: Gamification
Group 5: Blended Learning

Group 6: Flipped Classroom

Group 7: Digital Story Telling

Group 8: Personalized Learning


h. The rubric which will be followed will be:
