Standard 1: Planning and Preparation ‘Niecea’s planning documentation isimpressive. She always submits herlesson plans on-time. The contentis thorough, with a great deal of thought goinginto the instructional stages of each lesson. Her tasks and assessments, both individualand group, clearly linkto backto planning documentation, learning objectives, and educational standards. Standard 2: Classroom Environment Niecea’s classroom is always an inviting learning space. The tables have been set up ina variety of formats depending on the instructional task at-hand. She has worked tirelessly on the display boards around the classroom tocreatea space where students want to be. Asa result of herinstruction (see below), 1am yetto witness any behavioral issues beyond the ‘crowd control’ orstudents clamoring to answer questions during class discussions. Standard 3: Instruction Due to her thorough planning, Niecea has consistently delivered a well-executed lesson during my observations. Students are engaged and active throughout. On the single instanceshe over-planned a lesson, she seamlessiy concluded instruction at a natural task break within the lesson plan. Standard 4: Professional Responsibility Nieceais an active member of our school community. Not only has she established rapport with, parents, she is alsoactive among the teaching faculty. For instance, she has volunteered to co-chair the Professional Development committee. This rapport has extended beyond parents and studen she has also volunteered to supervise at various student council events.
