Update notes
a) Please make sure your device wont root and has enough internal
storage space. Please check the update package by Settings >
Updater > Check for Updates.
b) For users on other versions, you can online update to above
applicable versions, or download this software upgrade package to
SD card from the official website and upgrade directly. SD card
upgrade will erase all user data, please make backup before upgrade.
c) For better experience, all our mobile phones tailored for overseas
market carrying Android 5.0 and above will delete the build-in
HUAWEI browser and adopt Google Chrome. Before upgrade, please
backup your bookmarks as required.

d) We suggest you to update your apps to the latest versions in Play

Store for your better experience.
e) When you start your device for the first time after upgrade, it will
perform system optimization. The starting process may be a bit
slow-going and require a few minutes. Please wait a moment.

Lollipop Marshmallow whats new

[Gallery]
Added multiple label styles. You can edit the font size, color, and
position of the labels.
Added the Add memo feature, which allows you to add memos on
photos.
Optimized the album feature so that you can add photos directly after
you create an album.
Optimized the printing feature so that you can print multiple photos at
the same time.
[Contacts]
Added Smart groups. After you add the company information to a
contact, the contact will be automatically added to the corresponding
company group.
Added the contact name QR code, enabling you to share contact
information quickly and accurately.
Added the business cards feature, enabling you analyze and get the
information on business card, and automatically create a new contact
with it by scanning a business card.
[Text messaging]
Added a feature that enables you to cancel sending a text message up to
4 seconds after it was sent.
Added the Mark all as read feature so you can mark all unread messages
as read.
[Apps]
Added a compass with a spirit level to help you find your direction.

Introduced the scheduled power on and off feature so that you can set
your phone to power on or power off at a preset time.
Added more alarm ring duration options.
Added the notification panel and status bar option on settings.
Introduced the smart text color feature so your home screen text
automatically changes to black or white based on the background
wallpaper for better clarity.
Optimized the tone settings and added the option to enable a power on
tone.
Optimized the battery manager for a sleeker UI.

Rollback notes
a) This version can be rolled back to the official stable version of
Android 5.0+EMUI 3.1.
b) You should upgrade to rollback transition version ALE-L21C900B500
at first and then upgrade to Android 5.0+EMUI 3.1 from
ALE-L21C900B500.
c) The rollback will erase user data, please backup your important data
and applications before rollback.
d) Please call hotline or login the official website to get rollback
package and instructions.

Android 5.0+EMUI 3.1 rollback steps:

Step 1: Download transition package ALE-L21C900B500
Step 2: Copy the file named UPDATE.APP to the folder named
dload, and the folder should be in the root directory of
internal storage.
Step 3: Power off the phone and then press the Volume+, Volume-, and
Power button at the same time.
Step 4: Download Android 5.0 version upgrade package.
Step 5: Repeat step 2 3.
